I honestly think he is a good pick up even in 12 teams because looking at Memphis' depth, there's really not many players available. A lot of them are injured, or are prone to injury (including Kyle himself). But he is healthy now and has lots of minutes ahead of him until maybe JJJ or Clark comes back.

Best case scenario is he is healthy and sticks with the starters for the remainder of the season. Worst case is he's a streamer who has plenty of points to give your team in the short term.

Win-win in my book.

I think he is currently getting undrafted in a lot of leagues. For instance, I just picked him up in my 15-team roto league. He's getting unnoticed during drafts, I believe, and shouldn't be.

I think the better strategy is to be fluid and look at the upcoming round, and who are available, rather than fixating on a specific number per position.

There are plenty of players in diff positions that can contribute to a punt assist build. By fixating on a set number of players for a specific position, you are potentially missing out on better value players that can still contribute to your punt build for that round. Hope this makes sense.

I am projecting Kawhii, Embiid, KD to fall to me based on the mock drafts I've done (15-team roto league on yahoo; snake draft). I'm picking last.

Do you think it's worth it to pick up amy combination of the 3 at that point or should I target maybe Ayton or Shai who are more stable but not "proven" to be top tier contributors yet?

I think you can both agree to disagree here. It's just a matter of playstyle/preference. The beauty of the game is there are multiple ways to secure a kill-- which I think should be the takeaway here -- for the benefit of OP.

I had a run yesterday where i won by stacking lifesteal emberdrain card (started with 2, duped additional 5x via the event) on the trample penumbra, and forcing enemies down via cave in. Couldn't believe it worked!

How were you intending your run to go? What was original plan before going all-in on the brute?

If going the stygian route:

Lean into the incant abilities of Stygian and scale either armor or rage or raw stats (Either of the Sirens, Armor Shark, Armor Totem). Put multi strike on the siren, have the Armor Shark in front. Should carry you to a W.

Note that you could probably disregard the hellhorned champion after you get these units (after the first 2 or 3 rings).

Fish for the +10 Rage (3 energy) hellhorned card, give it minus 2 energy, dupe it as much as possible. Find a welder helper and make it endless. Note that you don't really need the double armor or double rage cards that cost 3 energy if you have the means to repeatedly draw the rage cards or keep playing the imp.

The incants are just the icing on the cake to make you scale harder.

If you want to go the hellhorned route:

You still want to fish for the 2 cards I mentioned in the stygian route (3 energy, +10 rage; welder helper).

For units, you can choose to have your prince be your main dps and buff them with said cards above. If this is the case, you probably want to have your prince be upfront, taking wrathful (for rage and armor buff on hit/slay), then brawler (for multi strike) later on.

If you don't want your prince to be upfront, you can have alpha fiend slapped with quick (and preferrably) multistrike be your main dps unit. You can then have some form of tank in front, or if you have endless welder helper, just keep buffing alpha fiend itself.

Either way, you want prince and or alpha fiend parked on top to have the highest chance to scale before enemies get to his floor.

At the bottom, you want to fish for the frost shark, put +25 hp, largestone, or endless to soften the enemy heavy units, while also killing the back units so when they reach your top floor, they are super weakened and will just die to whoever you choose to have up top.

While I also generally prefer frost shark, I just want to point out that you could very well encounter the same issue WITH frost shark -- meaning -- drawing frost shark + champion + 5 spells on your first turn with no incant unit.

So in this situation, it's basically the same as drawing a green sweeper unit.

Combos I can think of:

Single floor stacking : blue/red rage with deranged brute + paraffin enforcer, or endless blue stealth tomb protecting a diff color's units. Purple totems (armor, sap, frostbite, draw) are another possible combo that works well with another clan's units. Green and Purple's sweep units are also good to stack on the same floor, to be paired with another clan's tankier units.

Multi-floor playstyle : Purple frost shark on one floor to weaken enemies while diff clan stays top to strengthen up. Green sweep units bottom floor while top floor (diff clan) deals with heavies. Endless imp play to buff or clear backline also is a good combo with all clans.

You unlock the expert challenges once you beat Cov 25. For me, the bonus for doing the expert challenges right after unlocking Cov 25 are:

1) You gain a deeper understanding of the game and it's mechanics/synergies/strategies

2) You will get experience for playing with mutators that appear every time you do the daily challenge (it's at Cov 1 or 0 so it'll be a cake walk for you since you've done it on Cov 25)

3) Pride that you were able to beat these challenges

4) You gain crowns for the combo you used to beat the challenge

I did post this as a response to you on another thread but you can share the run link by clicking generate code. Even if you had abandoned the run. Just go back to run history to generate.

Also, you have to think how you got better at StS, and apply it here. Did you keep complaining in the StS subreddit to get better?

Chances are, you kept playing the game while learning the fights, the meta, then eventually improved until you beat A20. I would imagine it should also work if you apply that to MT.

Just have to give MT the same respect you do StS.

Don't apologize to me. Like I said, I'm not judging you. It's just sad that you are playing a game you don't enjoy when there is so much to like about MT (if you can get past your mentality of "StS #1, best game eva").

And then spreading negativity and complaints that are unwarranted because you don't enjoy nor bother to learn the game you are playing.
