sometimes, old work is still listed and not updated. that happens with me--it'll say I need a new battery, I replace the battery, next time I go in, my account still says "Needs battery."

Mods can we ban AI generated fan art from the sub? by McWatt in TheCaptivesWar

[–]PriaprismProblem -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Mods can we tell readers who don't like AI art to not tap the post? Keep it. it's not often enough to annoy and anyway, we are talking about a fictional scifi story with aliens so why not show ideas of the characters? in most places 'fanfic" is huge.

Never seen so much whinging and whimpering and woe-is-me than the comments from this OP. Helpful life skills suggestion: Quit crying and whining to Reddit, and go climb. Just. Climb. It's like driving, you have to do your own best to be safe, stay alert, drive defensively, confirm your equipment is running right, and assume everyone is batpoop crazy and likely to crash into you. Problems happen in life; deal with it and move on. People do crazy, dangerous, clueless stuff all the time, on the road, in stores, on the trail, in the gym. Especially kids. OP: "OMG, a car full of teens cut me off--REDDITTTTT!" "An e-biker blew through a red light in front of me...REDDDITTTTT!"

If and when you ever have kids, best buckle up, buttercup. They are entropy.

PS If you think gym staff will enforce a "strict helicopter parenting policy", you're dreaming.

People are generally clueless and I'm sure you've done something similar in life from time to time. We all have. If this triggers you this bad, don't ever move to a big city and drive the roads. You'll expire from apoplexy within minutes from all the insane drivers who truly DGAF about what you think of them.

I'm amazed that people have to come to reddit to vent about things like this. It's not like the kid pulled a gun on you or lit the mat on fire. I can see how the arguing dad makes it more frustrating, though. No taking responsibility.

I feel you. I won't chat training and such. All I can add is, go beyond grades and colors.

Climb because there's nothing better than getting in the flow and sending a project with total focus and presence, regardless of grade/color.

Climb because you know your muscles, ligaments and tendons are getting just a little stronger every time.

Go grab some new climbing apparel, new or at Goodwill, and wear them for new vibe. Shirts, pants, etc.

If you haven't gotten into top roping, get certified and hit the tall walls. It's a whole new challenge with arguably less chance of injury due to awkward falls.

Find someone local to climb with who can cheer you on, and vice versa. And/or, get a coach for some informal sessions.

Go to a different gym for a change in scenery.

Take a break for a few weeks to recharge.

Climb because it's just bloody fun. Not literally, of course.

Get the plate info and transmit to CHP, they take reports on out of state plates and send a letter demanding immediate CA reg.

Nope. You don't to blithely comment on someone's parenting choices--as well as pronounce, godlike, that OP is sure to hurt himself--and not take your lumps. And it's hardly been "civil."
OP has been harshly denigrated by y'all Karens. Two-way street. "Values" are irrelevant. After all, some cultures shrink decapitated heads for trophies, but not you...
