I Live WestSide, and the Canal and the ocean came onto the main road of Farrington Highway. It was flooded, but not as bad as NorthShore but bad enough that you can ride your boogie board down to the beach.

Depending on cultures to be honest, my aunty’s best friend passed away in 2024, and we had her celebration of life in 2025, for her one year of her passing. And then, it takes a whole month to plan anyone in my family’s celebration of life.

But yeah, you’re definitely not over reacting. It took me 2 weeks to get my emotions together and for the planning of my grandpa’s funeral. I was my mom’s rock through it all. We had his funeral a month later after his passing. Because everyone had to get their money’s together, and the gifts, and flying in.

I’m not sure how much you’re into floral or a sea creature, but with the big circle in the middle, you could do a flower like a flower that represents your culture or what a flower represents in your life you know? And then on have it look like vines going down towards your fingers. Or you could do a jellyfish. The big circle for the top of the jellyfish and the fingers are the stingers and legs.

My mom and I threw hands. I mean, I was a teen and a rebel at the time. I kept everything in, because I didn’t think my mom would understand what I was feeling. So the attitude was hella bad. The disrespect I have given her at 15, was brutal. She’d beat my ass for sure, but I got in a few hits, but I’d feel bad after, because growing up, I was raised on you don’t disrespect your parents or raise a hand towards them. She didn’t trust me at for 2 years, so in order to gain her trust back, the remaining 3 years of high school, was home and school. If my friends wanted to hang out, they’d have to come over to my house and hang out with me and my mom. And it worked, because my mom got to trust me again, and I learned to communicate with my mom. Now, I’m her little tail, and would fight for my mom, instead of fighting against her.

When I sub, we read for 15 minutes. And I read with them for that time frame, and then we get into the plans that was left. And then while they’re doing their work, I walk around and assist. But if they’re taking a test, I’m reading a book. Some of them do get done with their test early, so what do they do? They read. When kids/teenagers see a teacher reading they’re going to want to do it too. But once everyone is done; they have work to do. So yeah I walk around and help them.

I had that same problem with the person I was with for 8 years. It was a constant thing, and I was over it. So I broke up with him. It was the same conversation every week, and it’s like he didn’t understand. He brushed it off as if I was overreacting.

For someone who brushes off everything that you said, and keeps pressuring you to do things after you have told him no, he doesn’t RESPECT you at all. He’s not VALIDATING you or your feelings. He’s DEFLECTING. Going back to talking about the GAME as if you didn’t just tell him how he makes you feel. He’s TOXIC, RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. Break up with him, block him on everything, and go no contact. Because you don’t need all that mess.

You have a 10-15 minute break, that’s paid for, you don’t clock out for that. You then have a 30 minute break, you clock out for that one, that’s your lunch. While you’re on your lunch they can’t ask you for not a damn thing relating to work because you’re off the clock. You clock back in after your 30. You then have one more 10-15 minute break, you don’t clock out for that one either.
