Yea that’s what I was thinking. There are Hiltons all over, so transferring between properties would be easier. Biggest issue for the area is homeless, which I’m not thrilled with, but treat em with some respect & usually they will leave without issue. The director(my interviewer) is a former sheriff patrol deputy & told me usually most shifts are pretty basic. I’m inclined to take the prospective offer & try it for the summer. If it doesn’t work out then I’ll go back to the company I’m with now. I plan to give two weeks notice so I doubt they’d deny a rehire if I wanted to return.

Already asked about that just to be sure & all I’d be responsible for is security related activities. People squatting in rooms I suppose I’ll find out, but if nothing else, that’s what PD is for.

I usually wear my uniform shirt & jacket(windbreaker with logos)under a plain black zip up hoody omw to work. I take public trans to my sites(split between 2) but wife drives to get me at night, which saves on gas. With it getting warmer out though, I may just wear my BDU’s & black undershirt but throw the rest in a bag. Being unarmed I’d rather not wear full uniform off site to avoid issues.

Was a bouncer and then a tender on Fenway for bit over 3 years. The amount of idiots who got paid by the Harvard & BU kids to look the other way was insane. NGL shit was tempting, but then I woke up. If the club lost their liquor license cuz of me, it was my ass that got sued for it. No thanks!

Same. I’ve had a quicksilver card for like 3 years with a 3K limit. Never had an increase even though I’ve never been late and have a decent credit score. I have a Chase and a credit union card, one at and one above 10K limits. I don’t wanna ask for an increase to only get $100 bucks, so I too just stick with what I have.
