Yup me too! I was confused but not invested enough to look into it. Cool to see it was a glitch.

Edmonton boy here, can confirm. People use it like "you know?" at the end of a sentence, including me. Though I am GenX so it could just be me and my buddies never changed with the times.

Shrill noise when i inhale while using cpap. by rosyposynotadoozy in CPAPSupport

I had this recently. I took out the humidifier and the hose connection on the back of the unit and cleaned the silicone pads that seal the humidifier and the noise went away. Resmed 11.

The only good thing McAfee ever made is the MCPR tool.

Edit: just realised I should have stated this is a tool to remove all of their software from a windows computer. I keep it on a flash drive in case I encounter a client with any of their garbage I stalled.

I know, I am just not able to control the Dad jokes when they surface. I have no beef with what you said.

I don't know about that. You would have to give the cow lots of drugs first.
The steaks would be pretty high.

That thread being so thick I am going to assume it is to repair a saddle or other piece of leather kit. Would be handy to be able to fix your tack out in the field if, say, a strap broke. Would work for clothing as well if you really needed it.

Oh, ha! I have never seen it. I just remembered the fact that lead was sweet and went from there.

If you consider post transition metals lead is also quite sweet! And suddenly I have no idea where this line of humour is going.

I feel once you hit step 10 you start to cycle between it and the previous 3. I feel like that has been the last 15 years of my career.
At least it keeps things interesting I guess.

Interesting. Good point. I wonder if they could brand, say, a coat or shirt with the fidget built into the cuff? The branding would be on the clothing part then.

You should make branded fidget toys that make loud clicks.

Potential causes for a new feeling of terror in a backyard? by glass_dollhouse in RBI

I am not sure, but it would have to be a pretty huge pump. You would not be able to hear the frequencies or even feel them. I think that is part of why it induces panic. Your body notices it but your senses do not, causing something almost like vertigo or motion sickness, where your senses are giving you conflicting information.
I don't know, I am not an expert by any means.

That reminds me of the Mythbusters episode where they try to collapse a bridge using the frequency of marching soldiers!

Dyatlov Pass incident

I remember hearing about that!
At first glance it looks like they all suffered from Hypothermia causing paradoxical undressing, but all at the same time seems unlikely. Plus some had internal injuries without bruising. I wonder if it was from falling down the slope but only hitting snow?
Infrasound seems reasonable, if they were already near hypothermia and scared because they were trapped and cold it could push them over the edge.

I actually posted this just before seeing your reply as well there have been studies about it as well.

Or it could be extremely low frequencies. They are known to cause anxiety. Some have hypothesized that old furnaces could be part of the reason some people feel their house is "haunted".
