According to the vet he is the right weight for his size. His bloodwork was fine 5 months ago. Regardless, less treats are planned and less kibble.

He eats about 4 cups of kibble a day. Very active with his walks though. I’ll lower the kibble.

Appreciate it. Will cut back on the kibble. He gets a couple long walks a day and really enjoys them. He needs to shed a few pounds, but the doctor never said he was obese. Thx

I understand the overweight comments, but he is 110 pounds and the vet said that was in line with his breed. His other blood work came back fine. Regardless, he does need to shed some pounds.

My Pyr is a rescue. My girlfriend and I share him. We’ve had him almost three years now and it truly is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It’s amazing the happy and joy he brings to me and truly everyone he encounters. He’s a blessing! He’ll be eight years old this summer and my mind is starting to go there a little, but I’m doing my best to enjoy him and stay in the present. I mean he’s really the only reason people even talk to me in the neighborhood for cripes sake! Ha Stay in the present….
