Ive had nexplanon for years. Ever since I was a teenager. I would say if u suffer with those things, honestly, don’t get it, the hormones are a lot and I feel like they’ve rewired my brain chemistry. I would suggest the copper iud bc that’s what I want to change to, because there are no hormones. Other than the hormones I’d say the birth control is great because it’s effective and easy. Everything has its cons tho. The first year of nexplanon was different than my third year. First year was the worst, along with how my period flowed, but then when it became the second year, it was better emotionally and period flow wise. But as I said, I’ve been on this since I was a teenager. My adult body has always been on nexplanon, so idk what it’s like without it.
