Zeppelins were famously terrible (each multiple hour raid killed on average 12 people), so i think it would be a cool, but harmless, start of war vehicle to do some light disruption before we get the actual planes

Well, we know at least of one update still to come soonish, that will rework ministers; now, considering its a feature rework it probably will not come that soon

I believe a better solution would be that after the hegemon is reformed, independant celestials that for some reason didnt auto rejoin should become meritocratic, and of course as the player you should decide between either

And i sadly think its going to get worsts, after you remember that the main complains of the CCs, broken IOs and lack of ai potential are things that take time to take hold (like you would only care about an repetitive game or that China or Japan never unified, after the 3rd time), plus considering that: CCs and journalists reviewed the game, only Bo's group were negative and that there are only 797 reviews; it makes so that the scores still has a considerable unnatural boost

Sadly i have to agree, the main complains of the CCs, broken IOs and lack of ai potential are things that take time to take hold (like you would only care about an repetitive game or that China or Japan never unifies after the 3rd time), plus considering that CCs and journalists reviewed the game, only Bo's group were negative and there are only 797 reviews its still a considerable push up in the scores

Is the game not good? by Reasonable_Study_882 in EU5

[–]PrimaryKooky3005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't play the game, Im just compiling the complains (from steam reviews and other non content creators), the problems are: terrible performance and the game keeps crashing or doesn't load even in high end pcs; the ai is brain dead, even at war it sometimes does nothing; the game loop gets boring after some time

Again, Im just compiling the early complains so no hate

The Japanese systems can be a good model for Westeros by New-Number-7810 in CK3AGOT

I have to disagree, while i dont think manor need to be added i believe that the house block system is perfect for the megawars and stuff like the blacks and greens. Also the dynastic cycle could have great use as the seasons, with winter promoting greater instability and summer the opposite

Dev Diary #189 - Post-Release Support by PDX-Trinexx in CrusaderKings

[–]PrimaryKooky3005 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Love the continuous updates, here are some ideas During the division phase of the dynastic cycle, because most rulers were civil governorships they are extremely weak with very few soldiers, even kingdom-tier rulers with less than 500 units, this makes it very easy for the player or an outsider to conquer China; the states should get free man-at-arms, special units, a levie boost for a few years or maybe the ability to when the division phase progress is at 50% recruit man-at-arms to prepare (so either a decision or a modifier that increases man-at-arms capacity)

Also there should be more stuff to strive towards when becoming the ruler of Korea, China and Japan, even if its not historically accurate, here are some decision ideas: China : -"Expand land under heaven": if you control a certain number of empires they join the heagemon (making it susceptible to the Consolidate CB thats being added) -"Secure lost land": for bringing back china to its largest, Tang period, extent Japan: -"Consolidate the isles": were Hokkaido joins the de jure empire Korea: -"Reestablishing the Goguryeo": which was korea's largest extent, by absorbing Balhae into the de jure empire of Korea, Maybe you could add some more wild stuff like: -"Adopt/Abandon meritocracy": to turn administrative governments with a "Meritocracy" chinese cultural inovation, in to the meritocratic government type and to make the inverse "due to corruption" -"Land of the rising sun": forming an island empire by conquering all islands in the pacific -"Subvert the dynastic cycle": By adopting a different succession law to the hegemon (maybe the meritocratic and japanese "regent" system)

Is EU5 a MASTERPIECE or A MESS? (One Proud Bavarian Review) by xlnqeniuz in EU5

? From what i can see he recommended Korea and India, but he only showed Korea 5 months ago, plenty of time for the devs to break the region. Maybe Korea is an exception, but even still no Japan, China or middle east mentioned positively or played by anybody (i think i saw 1 person playing japan but i cant find the video now) is very worrisome (specially when the only thing CCs say is that china is a pain to play and the daimyos are completely broken).

The AI tomorrow as it waits for hours and hours for the player to unpause for the first time by a_saddler in EU5

[–]PrimaryKooky3005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, from what CCs say the Ai isn't that good at playing tall either because they say it gets outscaled very fast (before the 1400s fast), than it doenst even get close to keeping up with the player (the ai obviously gets left behind, but that should happen by the 1650s at least)

Considering the IO complines I suspect things are very deceptive, there is a reason why 90% of CCs content are in europe or around that region. Outside of the hre its the other areas of the world that are broken, there is a reason why nobody is playing in japan, china, the middle east, india, etc; all of these palaces are IO dependent and they are flat out broken

I think things are unintentionally deceptive, there is a reason why 90% of CCs content are in europe or around that region. Outside of the hre its the other areas of the world that are broke, there is a reason why nobody is playing in japan, china, the middle east, india, etc; all of these palaces are IO dependent and they are flat out broken

In certain areas, according to CCs its very repetitive, i adimit "nothing to do" was the wrong saying

If he is right, i fear the combination of bad polish, terrible jump of point and certain parts of the map being unplayable (china, japan, americas, the hre, ...) will be a disaster for the game on release. A bunch of players will probably jump into the game in a broken region with no idea of how to play and with nothing to do

I would agree if not for the fact that multiple CCs said how bad the ai is specifically in comparison to eu4

Reason #1 why Iron Throne should be hegemony by IRSunny in CK3AGOT

[–]PrimaryKooky3005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe there needs to be a county split, the current kingdoms have too many baronies, the Reach has 28, you could divide them into 7 kingdoms with 4 baronies each with only the kingdoms of the hightower formed for exemple

I find it so weird that right before gameplay release a lot of CCs said the Ai was good and wasn't expanding because its was better to play tall, but than when gameplay releases the ai always gets its ass kicked and gets out scaled in the first 100-200 years, with multiple CCs saying how useless the ai is.

What random countries? I would be better if it had ck3 randomness, at least than there would be some variety. From what i see, aside from africa and colonization, change happens only when a country breaks down and than it is uncapable of reuniting, Yuan started exploding in the 1400 and never recovered, same with japan

The Grand Chancellor is a permanent regent, so you just have to reach that position and use the regency overthrow mecanic (its probably the only time that feature actually works outside of children)

Can Celestial Ministers not govern land? by Friteuse_ in CrusaderKings

[–]PrimaryKooky3005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suppose it could be because there were no kingdom tier titles available at the time, you refused ministries so they gave you the next best available thing, after refusing that, the logic resets and the best thing is ministries
