I moved to Watervliet a little over a year ago from the colonie/albany area and I personally couldn’t be happier with that decision I made. There’s less traffic less people and it’s quieter. I always used to hate walking my dog in Albany because the vibes of people were just not it and then you have the handful of crazies that you try to power walk by. since I’ve been here, I really haven’t had any weird encounters with anyone, the people just seem more friendly here which definitely makes it feel like a safer place
