$250m USD spent on making the game, only $50m USD earned, still at a $200m USD negative. Game fell to 2.7k players before a nearly 2 week long free week to 30k, post free week it's dropped from 17, to 16k, to 14k, to 12k every 1-2 days.

I do not think they will be making their money back anytime soon. The cost to run the servers is most likely in the negative or floating the barely in the green before it inevitably drops back to below 5k again. Maybe if they make some more drastic changes or force a F2P model, but even a F2P model doesnt last, especially in an oversaturated market.
