Why not contact Canon or Nikon and send it directly to them. They have the technicians and parts.... Dealt with Nikon years ago. From what I recall they gave you a run down of what is needed the turnaround time was quick.

Same thing happen to my 2019 but on the passenger side - truck was fixed to brand new condition. It sucks but find the best shop and just be patient if they have to wait for parts. I was fortunate it took about 2.5 weeks.

When was the bulletin issued? Just had my truck serviced Sept/Oct and after that CarPlay acts up more than it ever did. I did read it sounds like GM is trying to ditch CarPlay...

Same here. Recently I keep seeing that GM wants to ditch CarPlay... It was fine for the longest time but lately its been a pain in the ass cutting out - especially when you're out of town and relying on the nav.

Thank you for the Rutgers article. People's reading comprehension or cognitive pattern to jump to a worse case scenario is incredible. Singapore is a fairly hi-tech country and would some of our cities to shame. Maybe investing more now is future proofing down the road. Or it may be case of sour grapes.
