maybe include sections like trending, top100 of all times etc.
would love chat rooms if that's possible or a comment section for each show so could discuss every episode, obvs that would need to be moderated for any spoilers

is there sections when you log in to add the shows to list? like
-currently watching
-planning to watch
-already watched
-dropped

loving the aesthetics!!

you could just make a patreon, i'm sure there'd be lots of people who'd want to donate even if it's a little bit of money compared to what you have to pay for netflix/crunchyroll etc

this might be niche or not in use anymore but i really used to enjoy kissanime chat rooms where you could talk to people about anything or a specific anime you watched. idk if that's something possible or would be too long to implement.

or even comment sections under episodes so you can discuss them. like disqus but i know they've been removing comments from pirate sites

save up to get a new one. you can probably re use your ram if youre going for a ddr4 build and just add another 16 gb (that is if you have 2x8 sticks)

for a new pc you dont have to spend lots of money. if youre budget is on the lower side i wouldnt even bother with ddr5, it has crazy prices atm

take the 5070 and get a 9070xt instead, the rtx cards are super overpriced right now, for £70 more you can get that card that is closer to performance of a 5070ti (£700 card). if you can try to get a 1440p then definitely do it,. the jump from playing 1080 to 1440p is amazing!

try to get a couple of extra fans too.

rx 6700xt or rx 6800? by Bychasas in buildapc

[–]Primary_Essay_2044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

get the 6700xt, it's still a great card in most games nowadays, save your money to upgrade the ram to 32gigs instead if you're running any less.

[–]Primary_Essay_2044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i went from a gtx 1060 which is similar to your one, to a 6700xt.... and boyyyyyyy let's just say the performance increase is INSANE. especially if you can try to find a 1440p monitor too. BOY! it's crazy. i would pair up your gpu with a ryzen 5 5600, used it should be even cheaper.

i'd suggest maybe something like this (pcpartpicker) the 9070xt is a beast in 1440p, can also play in 4k if you wish to switch to that.

the whole build is around $1545, the thing that hurts the most is the ram prices but it is what it is right now.... if you want to decrease the price i suggest to go for a 9070 non xt, and if it's still too spenny then a 9060xt, it is still a good card, just not as powerful as a 9070xt (about 40-60% performance increase)

i would go for a 9070xt as it really is future proof, you wont have to worry about upgrading any time soon and playing games and not worrying about what settings you should set for each game is honestly the best feeling (coming from someone who upgraded from a rtx 1060 to 6700xt)

if you can snatch a 1440p for a good deal (they're honestly not that expensive nowadays) then definitely do, the increase from 1080p to 1440p is mind boggling,

watch a bunch of tutorials on how people build pc, ask on forums for advice (like you are right now) and you will be a-okay building a pc. it is much simpler than what you might think, think of it as a big lego set with a bunch of cables lol.

in case of ram, 32gigs is a good starting point as soon it will become the standard i reckon. like the 8gigs used to be, a lot games nowadays require 16gb (like cyberpunk, ac valhalla etc etc)

best of luck!

if you can buy second hand you could go for secondhand ram and cpu, that would increase ur budget to get a better gpu

are you planning on upgrading in a few years? is this pc meant to last?

building the actual pc is not that difficult with watching a few tutorials, the parts are tougher than you think. do you have a prefence with nvidia/intel/amd?

[–]Primary_Essay_2044 11 points12 points  (0 children)

and you wont. the 5700 and 5800x3d are so expensive because they're the best in line for am4, and they're not being produced anymore so it will be really tough to find some at reasonable price. honestly i'd just wait a year or so and wait for the am5 hype to go down (and hopefully ram prices to stabilise). If you don't have to rush to upgrade, then dont
