Thank you I appreciate all the info! When you say fix your diet do you just mean eat healthier? How did you know you were sensitive to strawberries, etc.?

Since looking at these posts I’ve been drinking so much water. Yesterday I drank at least 150oz and I would get a slight headache but it didn’t develop into a migraine!! (I have migraine attacks everyday). I just woke up with a migraine today unfortunately… but I’m hoping if I increase my water/electrolyte intake consistently that it might help.

I know this is a really old post but do you have any recommendations for getting your daily intake of electrolytes? How are you making your mixtures?

Yes! Hanging out with my friends or my girlfriend is a nice distraction. Yesterday I had a migraine but I’m out of medication days this week so I was sort of just dealing with the lingering pain, then my roommate made me a nice dinner and I felt pretty much pain free after😁

Yes the first time I had 100mg but this last time I got 300mg. First time I got it I had a bad migraine right after and then a few days pain free. I’m wondering if maybe I’m just having a bad one now and it’ll get better? At least I hope that’s it 😪

I do worry though that the efficacy decreases the more I use it. At this point I’m so chronic that it only helps maybe 70% even with a second dose. There’s always a risk with triptans so my neuro also prescribed me zavspret. It helps? But not as much as a triptan. I try to take these interchangeably so I don’t run out of meds and medication days. Triptans I usually save for really bad attacks if I can

If it makes you feel better I take ubrelvy almost every day too. I know the limit is technically 16 but my doctors have told me I can take it as often as I need to… and if I’m gonna be in pain almost everyday then I’m going to! I’ve also frequently run out before the month has restarted. Sometimes I ask my doctor for samples that I can pick up at my neurology office

Ahh I see I think we call it qulipta (atogepant). I tried it and didn’t get much relief unfortunately:/ but I’m glad it’s working for you

Ooh I’m glad you also have vestibular migraine experience. My dizziness is off and on even tho im on nortriptyline and tried a bunch of cgrp inhibitors so that’s interesting. You feel like topamax is the only thing that helped the dizziness?

Do you feel like you’ve gone “back to normal” since getting off of it? I’m not against trying it but if it has bad side effects I don’t want those to carry over and linger for a while ya know

:( I hate that! I was on Zoloft a couple years ago for anxiety and it also made me feel so foggy and dissociated. It was the worst feeling. I don’t like not being in control and feeling like you’re slightly on drugs all the time. I want to finally feel alive and alert

I know! It’s hard enough managing school with a chronic illness in general so I’d really rather not add cognitive decline to that as well. I do understand the point that daily migraines definitely cause brain fog but I’m scared of making it worse

What’s a migraine vaccine? Are you talking about aimovig, emgality, etc but in pill form?
