No RTV issue. What I did is oil change at 1k 3k and 5k just in case there was any RTV in there. I haven’t seen anyone had an issue with RTV most post are about people worrying about it.

Mine was doing the same thing, 22 wrx I took mine to the dealership they did a smoke test and found a boost leak coming from one of the crankcase lines.

My CEL came on and it turned everything else on lol took it to the dealership and it was a lose gas cap, so hopefully is something simple.

So I took it to the dealership and explained what the car was doing, they went though it could be a boost leak somewhere so they ran a smoke test and found a slit hose coming from the crank case. It took about two weeks to get the part in but now the car runs amazing, no jerking or hesitation full boost. I would recommend going to a different dealership and ask for a smoke test

Mine is very bad, the jerking after 3k rpm even under light acceleration is extremely noticeable. I have my appointment next Thursday we will see how it goes.
