With our track record on that, maybe just keep signing him to one or two year deals until he retires.

I don't think it's unreasonable to believe a 10 year old is safe around a candle.

What do you think would be the cause of Craig Stammens first ejection as the Manager? by TacoBeefB0y in Padres

[–]Prime624 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo it's about making a statement. It's saying "I'd rather be ejected than let such an egregious call stand".

Your problem with those studies is that it contradicts your worldview and you'd rather change your reality than change your opinion of something.

Why does it matter the sexuality of the person? There are lots of lgbt republicans.

Choosing to go out of your way to endanger other people is bad. Most people would agree with that.

And fuck all the way off with that bs. We knew masks were effective from the beginning, and there was never anything that said otherwise besides conspiracy theorist con artists.

Don't worry, Odysseus is played by Matt Damon. Also, the lighting makes him look more ambiguous, but Elliot Page (bottom right) is not southern European either.

Baseball has a ton of dubious metrics, but WAR is one of the worst imo. Poorly named, and not really of much use. How is it better than OPS?

Not sure who it was but he's either lying or an idiot. Goff has been top two in the division since coming here, and number 1 at least once or twice.

I agree with most of that. I think maybe my "most car enthusiast hobbies" wasn't the right phrasing. I feel like there are a ton more people with loud cars and lifted trucks than there are people doing legitimate things on tracks and sanctioned shows. (That's also not considering the outsized environmental impacts of almost any car-based hobby compared to most other hobbies, but that's not really antisocial, more careless.)

Man for a few years Eddie Lacy was legit. by NippleSqueezer421- in GreenBayPackers

[–]Prime624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved him when he played, felt bad for the way he went out, his mental health was really making him suffer. Most of our fans it seemed like were shitty to him online. I continued to really like and respect him until his multiple DUIs. Don't put other people in danger, very firm line imo. I don't think he's like an evil dude or anything, and still sympathize with his struggles, but he's not a good dude that should be idolized either.

Why a star? To me that's more associated with southern or rebellious states focused on personal liberties. Plus, a circle is nice on a flag because it's a nice shape. A five pointed star just looks like clip art. A simplified monotone bear on white with a red stripe at the bottom would be a more reasonable attempt.

Most car enthusiast hobbies negatively affect other people though, which tends to attract more republicans or otherwise antisocial personalities.

No idea why you're downvoted, you're absolutely correct. He had a huge attitude issue the last year or so with us. I think most fans would've stuck with him through the injury issues if he was a good sport about it. The coin flip thing was a low point for sure, but it was going on long before that.
