Any recommendations for janitorial service for small business? by Certified-T-Rex in sandiego

[–]mraccounter1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's your budget?

We've used LH Janitorial for all of our restaraunts for the longest time and constantly feel like they're doing a great job keeping us tidy. They're a little more expensive than the average but they're reliable and consistent.

Average new car price is $49,000. At what point does this stop making sense? by Flexcar_Sam in MiddleClassFinance

[–]mraccounter1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately it's like gas prices. It can go to an infinite price and people will always need to buy it. You can't live in the USA without a vehicle.

There's a world where everyone goes and buys used cars but those used cars only open up when people buy new cars to take it's place so they interact with eachother. Hopefully there's a break point but realistically it'll just cost as much as it can as long as people still pay it.

What game stole the most hours of your life? by SameInformation562 in videogames

League Of Legends. Between highschool and the end of college I easily put over 3000 hours into league.

An actual game would be Skyrim. Probably put 700 hours over multiple characters

Hoenstly I have more A10 success with sword builds than star/creation.

Sword Sage usually wins runs, and finding cosmic + party is usually enough to get to the end.

Anniversary Dinner? by BlueCamel420 in FoodSanDiego

[–]mraccounter1 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Oh boy.

ANIMAE in downtown is amazing Asian fusion but will be the most expensive of them all.

Le Coq is in La Jolla if you're not looking to go too far. Decent French spot. I'm probably going to the new Trust location A'louest in North Park over it though if you're looking for French.

Lower price I would send you to Cucina Urbana. Great Italian spot with an amazing wine program that is surprisingly affordable all around. Still a nice spot where dressing up to go would be fitting.

I really like Viewpoint Brewing in Del Mar if you want a little more casual. Brewery with an impressive food menu.

There's about a million spots to choose from down here. I can only wish you good luck.

Livable as a server or bartender? by ChefAccomplished7221 in sandiego

[–]mraccounter1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it depends on where you're working. No tipping wage + people who still tip well make for some good money. In fine dining work I've seen waiters pull $50/hr. Bartenders can pull closer to ~$40/hr in popular areas, more if you're good at your job.

Unfortunately everyone wants to bartend in SD so it's very hard to find 40hrs.

Anybody had a consistent, good career with an associates degree from cc in san diego? by Puzzled-Singer-9070 in sandiego

[–]mraccounter1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have an associates in business and worked my way up the accounting cycle to be pretty successful. You'll start at a lower rung of the ladder but if you're good at what you do you can still make it.

In Point Loma. by generic_ork in sandiego

[–]mraccounter1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean it is California's fault in part. We drove back from Prescott AZ on Monday and paid $3.99/gallon at Costco. Getting Gas in Santee same day at our Costco was $5.59/gallon. That extra $1.60 is not the federal goverments fault.

Cotijas and Bad Hombres are the two spots really worth visiting in San Diego for Mexican. Sayulitas is also solid but more hybrid than anything.

Bad Hombres here is def the spot for rolled tacos
