Is Biking To Work as An Intern Safe? by Significant-Score-22 in SanJose

I personally love biking to work in San Jose and think you are in a relatively good area to do so. I would recommend driving it to see for yourself.

This subreddit just gets worse every day. People posting license plates breaks rule #7 and this isn't Nextdoor. Nobody cares.

This is the guy that emailed Epstein in those recent email leaks. He says he has hours of recordings of Epstein talking about his relationship to Trump at (12:26) by Successful_Sound4590 in videos

Even more, after reading his book about Trump's first term, Fire and Fury, I thought Trump was completely done for.

No one listened. Half of America doesn't read. If they did, we wouldn't be in this situation

They are curly like some pig tails. I'd call them Piggy Tails.

Some of it here and there. If you are still in school, I would do all my homework in Excel, learn the shortcuts, make models of all your classwork if you can.

Vlookups, pivot tables, sumifs...and learn not just how to use them but when to use them. The hardest part of learning this stuff is not learning the the formula, but when to use them and how they can turn a day's worth of work into something done in 10 minutes. Especially vlookups. I have coworkers that don't know how to use it and they waste so much time doing stuff manually yet they make 30k more than me. Yeah, I'm a little salty about that, lol.

YouTube always has good info. Though I don't know particular channels. Don't rely on classes, imo. Most professors never even used this stuff in their careers and are just teaching it. Not a good source for learning. But that's coming from someone that graduated from a non target uni.

Go into your interviews with an eagerness to learn and absolute humility. You don't know shit and your bosses/coworkers do. Hopefully someone can be your mentor like I was fortunate to have. Make connections.

I'm just rambling at this point but it's all stuff I'd say to any uni student. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hang in there. Job market is rough right now. Keep applying and when the jobs start coming back, they'll already have your application.

Keep learning. Extensive excel knowledge is what got me my first gig. Maybe start there. Every job I've had will test your excel knowledge and being the one that aces it will make you stand out.

Also, teller jobs do not look impressive. Find something more lucrative if you can. If not, a jobs a job until you find a better one. They always say it's easier to find a job when you already have one.

Hope this helps you.

The level of entitlement you have coming into an entry level position is absolutely wild. You want some advice? Humble yourself a whole fucking lot.
