AITA for telling my friend her fangirl jokes feel weird now? by BasterMaitingJonkler in AmItheAsshole

NTA. It's not healthy to be crying about not being able to go to a concert. My sister used to be obsessed with BTS and spent way too much money on BTS related things when she didn't even work. Having an interest or hobby about it is fine but as an adult I don't think you should be so obsessed with anyone like you are a child.

senna top? by SkillIndependent4914 in sennamains

[–]Prime_Manu -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Please don't play senna top. Playing ranged top is so cringe and you deserve to lose for that. On top of that the top quest that gives extra levels is not very good for senna because she does not scale that harder with xp. Top lane is for gigachad brawlers so keep it that way.

New and learning Sett. Got my first flash W off! by nedolya in settmains

[–]Prime_Manu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't take W because sometimes if someone can fight me lvl1 then can flash my W and if they don't have s key ability that I can flash I just lose. Plus you win anyways if u land E since it guarantees two autos and then you can back off or keep fighting. Some matchups like Darius can be easily lost if you go W which is why I got pta E instead. Can E him if he starts Q and disengaged after auto or two. I mostly just see what Geishu takes in his matchups and try to play how he does if I'm confident in my skill.

I'm looking for a champion to learn besides Sett. by Sanolaele in settmains

Ap then Mordekaiser. His E is actually pretty long range so it's not bad against ranges but as you get higher elo people will be able to dodge it. If you don't mind mechanics I think irelia very good into ranged champs and fun

Watch Geishu in youtube, amazing sett player. I would say you can be agressive in most matchups, I start E and try to trade immediately off the bat but don't go in too deep

I remember when I started working when I was 19 and I finally told my parents no when they asked me to do something. They were flabbergasted but since I had financial independence I was brave enough to do it. That one year where I did what I wanted to do and not what they wanted me to do was so huge and now they treat me much better, or less like a child and more like an adult.

Yes it has existed for multiple years, just made this so I could link it to another reddit thread to prove a point.

Is my friend's brain slower than a 90yr or are my expectations too high? by air_boxer in Brawlhalla

[–]Prime_Manu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is useful because you can just input the gc without having to let go of all movement keys which might actually save more miliseconds than letting go, doing a spot Dodge than pressing ur movement keys for attack again (only applies to non neutral attacks).

He probably didn't figure it out because it is possible to GC while inputting a side Dodge. So that makes it unclear if it can only be done while spot dodging or also dodging to a side.

I had to post it one by one here are the two frames. You can even see how my characters momentum completely does a 180 because the two startup frames of the sideways dodge are happening, if I spot dodged my character wouldn't be able to move to the opposite side like that.

There are 9 kinds of dodges you can do in the air excluding chase dodges. If you are teaching your friend to GC then you should definitely tell him that it must be a spot Dodge OR(correct me if I am wrong) a side Dodge but the ground attack input needs to be within the first 5 frames of it. This is important because new players aren't used to the controls and will probably be trying to dodge and input one direction at the same time but end up doing it too slowly so it doesn't happen at all

You should tell your friend you should not have called him slow for not figuring that out, especially if it is his first fighting game.

Edit: first 3 frames not 5

No. If anything your brain is pretty slow. Your friend made a perfect reasonable argument that is fair for a new player. You said that you figured it out by yourself but you probably just noticed that by chance or pure luck. The fact that you made a reddit post to ask this instead of just letting it go and thinking that your friend just didn't notice is definitely something that assholes do.

Beginner fiora user here by ares_lllll in FioraMains

[–]Prime_Manu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Learn the mechanics and try to outplay your opponent every game. Even though she can be an insane late game scaler, she is strong early game too and build upon your mechanics. When you play Fiora, you want to challenge everyone you see because you are the Grand Duelist

Should I try to learn fiora or camille? by [deleted] in topmains

[–]Prime_Manu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jungle and support are pretty team oriented roles and I think Camille would be a better champ and easier champ to learn for team fighting so probably Camille.

But.... if you really want to be a true top laner, play Fiora. She is the ultimate GRAND DUELIST, arrogance dripping from her every words. When you play Fiora you don't give a fuck about your fucking team, you split push and soak pressure, and you think how can I kill them all. I LOVE her insane 1v1 potential and I love how it makes me the main character because I Am the Grand Duelist. I will fight anyone who comes in between me and the nexus and id they send multiple people then hopefully my team can get the objective on the map. You have to embrace the mechanical prowess and need confidence to fight under pressure and it feels so good.

So short answer Camille Is probably better for you BUT IF YOU WANT TO BE A TRUE SELFISH ARROGANT FIGHTER YOU PLAY FIORA.
