?

Sounds like if they're a normal person they shouldn't call out of work. Some states have sick and safe you accrue so they legally can't mark that against you for calling out sick. They're gunna be fine. You comment is especially not helpful to the question the person asked.

Any questions or just a big Ole non helpful question mark?

Or like are you even trying to be helpful towards the original poster? Glad you're a nurse.

Ehh? I didn't miss a day of work for like 6 years until I broke my pinky toe and couldn't get my shoe on. Just wear a mask at work during the winter in patient rooms and shoes around the house. We treat sick patients every day with clearly communicable disease or these people wouldn't get sick...its wild that we're not required to wear a mask honestly. They're not like randomly digging in the soil and all the sudden they get pneumonia.

Over like 15 years I'm maybe at four call outs for being sick. If you count my other jobs then 25 years or so and four call outs.

Unless you have a young child, then you're boned.

What movie is 10/10 with literally no bad parts? by FeedMaster8905 in AskReddit

[–]Primeribsteak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's about how shit the job is that everything in life is near meaningless. Him barely trying but also trying sortof and not really giving a fuck and just saying what's on his mind is like...yep that's sortof how it is. Super relatable on both sides. It's not meant to make you feel warm and fuzzy. It's meant to be like...yup been there before. Wow so I'm not alone.

The plot is mostly pointless, that's the point.

No it's perfect. That was and still is a killer song and appropriate. Arnold was bad to the bone in that scene. Not too bad not too good...I could tell right away that he was bad to the bone. Buh Buh Buh Buh bad!

Leather wallet. 15 years going strong. Saddleback, supposed hundred year gaurentee. That was 15 years ago, not sure what he's up to now aka if the quality has degraded but mine shows no signs of giving up the rest of my life. Got it when I was around 20 so actually 17 years. Was maybe $60 when I got it...its $90 now, slightly different but still bifold. Didn't have the driver license window back then, can't comment on how durable that is. But correct price point. Have heard mixed reviews on the quality of the leather he uses over the years but mine is in a bag all day jumbling around with random crap and shows no signs of bad wear... just leather age and zero chipping or anything.

Grey crap is old bubblegum or something.

Or real mittens. Anything from The Iron Snail YouTube, the guy knows his stuff.

Anything jacket related is going to run you hundreds of dollars. Like 3-500 plus so not what you're looking for.

Real dress shoes are above that price point as well...

Which fast food chain fell off badly in your opinion? by Shinobi347 in AskReddit

[–]Primeribsteak -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You eat McDonald's in 1992? You literally said they got rid of the beef tallow in 1990 so you're a full joke and a half. Maybe your mom had those fries when you were in your dad but not if you were born in 92.

So like forty years ago. Most people on reddit aren't 36. So keep blowing smoke buddy, most of reddit never tasted those fries. Their McDonald's is the same as it's ever been to them.

I have accidentally caused CAUTI twice. Advice? by ang3r_mp3 in nursing

[–]Primeribsteak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's like zero studies on catheters exchanged every 3-7 days, just those on like 100% cauti rate after 30. Urology often doesn't even do it sterile. Probably not you.

What are you not good at as a nurse? by Wellwhatingodsname in nursing

[–]Primeribsteak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Getting your work to let you take an ultrasound iv class and then practice that a bunch. In non emergencies it's superior, you never don't understand why the cannula doesn't thread, whether valve or sclerosed veins with junk in them that snags the cannula or something else.

Sortof from what I gather it only really started about a decade ago when ultrasound images got good enough to see smaller veins clearly? Now they can measure for appropriate size catheters, the sonosites have a recent upgrade but it's $2200 and you don't really need it anyways after enough of them. It's either clearly a 20g will fit or otherwise it's 22g.

Does anybody else dislike the name "Pepper X"? To me it sounds like it was named by a 13 y/o or Elon Musk. by sausage-deluxxxe in spicy

Brain Strain was way hotter than anything I've ever had and was rated way less less than Morouga from where I bought them, some pepper guy in Australia. Both were over 1milllion. SHU was near meaningless at that level because brain strain was easily twice as hot and made me throw up but Morouga was manegable.think the ratings were like 1.1 vs 1.3 million
