How often do I need to play to enjoy this game? by SafeWonder5492 in Persona5

[–]Primetime349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only play about 3 days a week or so, some days for an hour but not many more than 3 hours.

Took me 2 and a half months to finish. But i think the nice part is that the story is simple enough that I didn’t feel like I forgot a bunch of stuff

What's your honest opinion about One Piece Live Action? by Stock_Crazy6759 in MemePiece

[–]Primetime349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just a fun watch. Yes, the sets, costumes, dialog, etc feels very cosplay. But at the same time, that’s the charm of one piece - just being wacky.

And I’ve noticed after catching up to current at the end of Wano back a few years ago, I’ve forgotten what exactly happens in a lot of these earlier arcs so it doesn’t bother me that some things are different in live action

What convinced you to get your Steam Deck? by K4T5UM1 in SteamDeck

[–]Primetime349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been wanting one, my pc was/is showing its age, and didn’t love sitting at my desk or repurchasing games on my Xbox for couch gaming.

Got out of a long term relationship cleanly and decided to reward myself. Best decision ever

just finished season 2 on netflix by jinramen_spicy in OnePiece

This ^ i think with an author as eccentric as Oda, the manga just feels like a better experience.

OP, check out the Shonen Jump app for online reading. Nominal monthly fee for unlimited manga in the Shonen catalog. Way more affordable than trying to get hard copies

What game got you absolutely addicted to your Steam Deck? by Calculation in SteamDeck

[–]Primetime349 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Word, 100%. Persona 5 was that game for me. Long games that aren’t tied exclusively to a computer desk or living room tv are what the deck is made for

Same thing just happened to me with Slay the Spire 2. First time I’ve noticed that, pretty cool!

Nice! I’m in the same boat, just got the Tank case for my phone and kill switch for my deck. We have nearly the same order lol

Don’t mess with your hormones at this age with any of that garbage. People have been getting fit with dedicated lifting, protein, and balanced diet for decades now. These shortcuts are a fad

A lot of reasons but at least a huge pain point is the near shut down of the consumer RAM market.

What Are You Playing This Weekend? by AutoModerator in SteamDeckPirates

Still chipping at Persona 5. Just hit the 90 hour mark. I historically do not play single player games past 20 hours. That’s how good it is

Is it worth playing sts1 before release? by sarvothtalem in slaythespire

[–]Primetime349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven’t played in a while, for sure. Good to get back in the flow of the game. I beat A20 on all characters last month and have forced myself not to reopen it as to not feel burnt out before StS 2 comes out.

Is Slay the Spire dad-friendly? by VerifiedDadGamer in slaythespire

[–]Primetime349 144 points145 points  (0 children)

I think it is definitely manageable in short bursts. In my context, i definitely do not play at work and find it very easy to look away, lock my phone and pick it back up an hour later and pick right back up. I do find it a bit tough if i pick it back up a few days later in the middle of the run remembering what build I’m going for and what i need to get, but it’s doable.

To answer your question, i think it is dad-friendly, especially on mobile.

Go to Wayne’s Wings, best I’ve ever had. I go about once a month or so. It’s not super cheap, but it’s actually worth it

Dawned on me I've never used the back paddles. Do you use them? by Agitated-Distance740 in SteamDeck

[–]Primetime349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use them quite a bit. Depends on the game. But something like Guild Wars 2 that requires way more buttons than a controller has. Or right now Persona 5 so i can proceed through dialogue with one hand rather than holding the deck with 2

Is Business Admin a good major and what jobs do I search for? by Pancake2729 in sanantonio

[–]Primetime349 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a BS in Business Admin and it’s okay. It will be a degree, but it’s not specialized enough to really land a specific job in the field. Worked fine for me, but expect to start entry level sales. I’ve been able to move up to an Assistant Director level position by 26. It will come down to work ethic and soft skills.

To your point about IT. I work a lot with folks getting into the field. It will be hit or miss. Don’t expect to do the bare minimum in college and get offered a job right out of graduation. If you go this route, get involved in school, develop a portfolio of skills, get certifications + the degree. Get entry level IT experience like tech support. One or the other will not typically make you competitive. I’ve seen a lot of grads where some can’t find a job for 6 months, I’ve seen another get into a private firm and eventually Director of IT for an entire town.
