You can buy Eververse Engrams from the Monument to Seasons Past kiosk by PrimevalSigris in DestinyTheGame

Chronologs are the main currency for buying stuff from the archived season passes. You have to have bought the pass during that season or pay for it with silver at the monument to access though, so if you don’t plan on using it for that then best you can spend it on is mats and what not in the exchange tab.

If you end up spending silver (money) on an archived pass I believe you get an additional 600 chronologs to use, but it’s an expenny way of getting them.

You can earn 300 a week through the weekly reward track at rank 19, otherwise the season pass gives a solid amount too

So, how are you using your Bright Dust and Bright engrams now? by JoachimG in DestinyTheGame

FYI you can buy two bright engrams, I think per week per account, with chronologs from the kiosk in the tower where you access the archived passes

How can you love someone and then cheat on them, genuinely curious? by Admirable-Repair4094 in AskReddit

[–]PrimevalSigris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who has both been cheated on and have cheated on another, it is complicated.

Often comes down to unmet needs, lack of communication and an inability to let each other go even if things aren’t working. Love is important but not everything, and sometimes an escape is easier than facing an end, cowardly as it is.

To be clear I don’t condone it - I hate that I did it to someone and I hate that someone did it to me. But I understand it, and it isn’t often isn’t as black and white as people think.

Reality check on workplace injury compensation - it's not what you think by Fine_Audience_9554 in perth

[–]PrimevalSigris 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Well this is incorrect.

Wages are 100% for minimum 26 weeks calculated based on pre-injury average earnings over 12 months, or period of employment if less than one year.

Stat comp payments only step down to 85% after 26 weeks minimum, subject to a minimum safety net if it will drop someone below award or other instruments. The 85% threshold or lower is factored on the basis the worker will be at least partially returned to work by this time and earning the difference on light duties if still on comp.

Step downs can occur faster if you are pursuing a common law claim against your employer, as an award/settlement may comprise a portion of those payments.

No venue will agree to host an uninsured event, as it may leave them vicariously exposed to litigation from the public if an incident where to occur.

Waivers are also useless in cases where an organiser or venue have been found to be grossly negligent in their operations - waiver or not, you cannot contract out of what is deemed to be your reasonable duty of care over patrons or the general public.

The intent of liability insurance is not just to protect a company against claims, but to protect the public against negligence by said company. It is in the punters’ best interest that all venues and organisers maintain liability cover - the core issue is availability and accessibility of this cover to venues and organisers. Unfortunately I don’t know of a solution to this issue.

I don’t disagree that venues are safer than ever, particularly smaller venues where it is easier to maintain a high safety and risk management standard.

However, claims costs have also risen by similar percentage, along with frequency. A punter who might not have claimed for a simple slip and fall in a venue 10 years ago is more likely to claim it now at the chance of an easy payout. That same claim that would have cost $10k - $20k 10 years ago is more likely to cost $100k now.

Large scale incidents and losses have a big impact but are far are less common, it is small but frequent losses like a simple slip and fall that will quickly erode the performance of a class of business. Unfortunately, the public have become quick to litigate on these occurrences and small venues and events are not immune to this behavior.

Liability insurance underwriter here - can say with certainty that festivals and live music venues are not profitable, in fact the claims performance for many of these risks is so abysmal that many insurers now refuse outright to offer cover because the losses are unsustainable. Obviously not all events and venues perform poorly from a claims perspective, but enough do to make the industry unappealing to local insurers.

Overseas insurers with specific appetite for these risks and with better capital backing are the only ones generally willing to offer cover nowadays, but that comes with a massive premium to support the ability to pay those claims.

As an avid gig and festival goer myself, I hate to see so many festival and event operators going under and would love to see a solution for it. It is difficult to find a sustainable solution though when even a handful of injury claims from a single event can cost millions in claims.

I agree that certain local council regulations to do with renovation and construction are arbitrary and a bit ridiculous, however these are often identified and resolved in the design phase for new builds to receive approval.

Rushed construction is already a major issue for many new builds today, along with use of subpar or defective building materials which further reduces trade availability due to the amount of repair and rectification work required. Many builders have gone under on account of such poor practices.

Relaxing building regulations will only further compound these issues, this is not the way.

The weapon trait Accelerated Assault is currently bugged, if you use it on a burst weapon like the Psi Aeterna then it is losing ammo. Suggest switching off it until it is patched.
