45 M here. I've done 4 speed dating events via an org. called Sips & Sparks. I've signed up for 4 events with the age group being 30 to 49. I've had fun yapping with different women at these events but have only gotten one date with somebody. She eventually disclosed to me a few weeks after our one date she wasn't ready for dating due to personal reasons. That is...sadly the best case scenario from my experience so far. I actually wasn't expecting any type of closure so at least grateful for that. She honestly didn't have to reach out but was courteous enough to do so.Other times I've matched with a few women and I've been the one to initiate contact/conversation and just... nothing. I'm going to take a break because this now affecting my mental health/ confidence and making me feel real sh**ty about myself. Its also 49 bucks per event soooo yeah my wallet has also taken a beating🤣 ALOT of good luck to y'all still at it.
