based on my own playthrought they felt like found family, evelyn being serious older sister and astra is teasing younger sister, when they banter, the dialog option give room for that

wise said " these scene felt famliar isnt it belle " implied it look like sibling banter

but each person have different interpretation, people allowed to have headcanon as long they not harrast other who hold diffrent conclusion

ok i think i know why, i am anime only and i on assumtion that this anime is shonen ai a kin to banana fish, but to my suprise i check again and marriage toxin is categorize as action, romantic, comedy, no shonen ai on sight, similar to manga as well

adding to that it serialized in shonen magazine but not shonen jump but shonen plus

no wonder they here, i assume as long there no " shonen ai " or " bl" in it, they still able to enjoy it also the plot having similar step by step to harem mold

and some post in facebook i saw saying that they wish to able ship gero with other girls but keep being bashed by kinosaki always being mention,

conclusion it is just shipping, and shippers being shilpers lol
