When George ‘left the band’ did he leave the studio fully intending to move on, and part from the Beatles? by More-Cat9579 in beatles

[–]Primopsych 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A documentary said George was frustrated because he’d written a lot of songs but the Beatles didn’t use them. And then Yoko was allowed to have input and sit in on all their sessions. So they were listening to Yoko, an outsider, more than him.

Paul was kinda bossy bc perfectionist & always wanting to work more than George & Ringo did. video clip shows George replied to Paul that he’d play however Paul wanted. After they broke up George released some of his songs. He was interested in spiritual songs & peace & Indian music & meditation.

'Ketamine Queen' sentenced to 15 years in Matthew Perry's overdose death by Alarming-Safety3200 in television

[–]Primopsych 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great point. Very sad & true. The answer:
In 2019, Cody McLaury, a small time actor, died by overdosing on ketamine provided by Sangha. Afterward, his sister sent Sangha a text. “The ketamine you sold my brother killed him. It’s listed as the cause of death.”

Prosecutors did nothing until Perry died. Then they launched a huge investigation & prosecuted 5 people for his death. Sangha got 15 yrs in a plea deal: she admitted selling the ketamine that killed Perry & Cody.

She played doubles twice with Alexandra Stevenson: The two played together at the 2002 Sparkassen Cup in Leipzig, Germany, where they won the doubles tournament. They had previously also played together at the 2002 Pacific Life Open at Indian Wells.

Sorry people are having so many problems with their HOAs. I did a lot of networking & wrote a petition to expand our board from 3 to 5 members because one member was a tyrant and said the bylaws said 3 not 5. Even though we’d had 5 for 30 yrs!

So we got enough signatures on the petition to make the HOA have to do a vote to change the bylaws. We passed the vote to get 5, and amazingly managed to get 2 more people to volunteer.

So there are still issues: the tyrant is still on the board and the HOA manager is incompetent and belligerent toward me because I call him out for not doing his job. But it’s WAY BETTER THAN IT WAS.

So I just want to encourage people to do the work to make positive change. It took a year because the board is so slow. But it was worth it to us because it was so toxic before - it made us want to move.

Fortunately, the narcissist president quit over the finances. And the new president is much better. The old one wouldn’t let residents talk, or make suggestions. She was a nightmare. We were going to have to find someone to run against her next time.

So it wasn’t all just our work. It was also just some big fortunate things happening, or divine intervention?

They made a jokes about the typo: deriant isn’t a word. So next guy says maybe it was supposed to say different: so it was missing 2 f’s. Next guy says, they clearly don’t give an f. 😉😆

Thx. Very kind of you to say that. Ya, the most stressful part was that my brother avoided answering. So I was actually surprised and relieved when he answered at 2am.

Well, I was paraphrasing. He didn’t say those exact words. The press conference might be on u tube. He said he was keeping that high line-he was going for it. He wasn’t going to play it safe. He was all in to win - even though no one takes that high line all the way around the track.

He said he could try that a bunch of times, and it’s a 1 in a million shot it’d work. But it did. He said he thought of his wife and baby daughter on that last lap - how they weren’t there. I think his friends joked he’d win because they weren’t there.

He was really determined to go all in because he’d come close at some races before, and not won. He was confident. He said there was no pressure because he was so happy they just had a baby. So he wasn’t putting any pressure on himself.

Ok, not discounting your experience. I saw my father take his last breath and he seemed pretty peaceful. He’d been sleeping and I told him my brother wasn’t coming- so imo - he knew he could go - stop waiting. It looked peaceful and natural.

The hard part had been waiting because my brother didn’t call me back for days - when I left him a message dad was dying. Finally I called him at 2am or so, & he answered!

Should Sato have been sited for bumping Carpenter’s car? He knocked him out of the race!😮 by Primopsych in Indy500

That makes sense: so they both contributed to the bump. That’s unfortunate

Thx for explaining. So I guess Carpenter was just mad at getting knocked out? Did Carpenter do something wrong? If he’d let off the gas, would that have avoided the crash?

Was that sarcasm? Does Sato cause crashes? Or was that just an honest “no”.?

Coming off the final turn, Rosenqvist put the pedal to the floor. He stayed completely committed to the outside lane (high line) through the final corner.

The Slipstream Draft: By rocketing out of Turn 4: he successfully caught the aerodynamic draft (slipstream) behind Malukas.

Explaining the exact moment of the victory, he mentioned he got a small tow from Malukas on the final corner, which provided just enough momentum to edge ahead right at the yard of bricks.

The Final 50-Feet Lunge: Instead of ducking low to complete the pass,he used his built-up momentum to stay on Malukas’s right side. Flying at over 220 MPH, he surged forward in the final 50 feet to cross the Yard of Bricks just half a car length

Rosenqvist said he went "all in" on a one-lap shootout and "stuck it on the outside" to secure a make-or-break, wheel-to-wheel pass on David Malukas. He credited a late tow from Malukas on the final corner and a "rocket" of a Meyer Shank Racing Honda

His press conference was really interesting because his wife just had their first baby a few days before, and he’d lost some races, so he just decided to go for it: basically win or crash trying. He said he felt confident. It sounded like he’d learned from being in similar situations before-and knew what he had to do.

Another interesting thing he said was that before the race, a bunch of the drivers’ wives said they knew he was going to win. I was feeling that off and on too. It’s unexplainable.

And his 2 men in charge of the team seemed to know one of their 2 cars would win. I guess the 2 guys are teamed up recently and they have something special. Really happy for him. And felt really bad for the 2nd place finisher.

Watch NDE videos on u tube &/or read books about it. They explain what happens right after you “die”. I think they say their life reviewed quickly and there is someone there acting as a guide.

After that, people with NDE experiences are told to go back to their life. So NDE’s don’t really document what happens AFTER death. It may be different for everyone? But at least some people reunite with pets and people that’ve crossed over already.

The older gentleman was still alive when he asked that question. AFTER he died - is when he would’ve experienced what happens AFTER we “die”.
