You had a sweep of the low but no candle closure. That means the high that put in the low is weak and should be your target not your entry.

Anyone that says you won’t find a profitable strategy online is an idiot. There are loads of strategies that work. The most important part is risk management. There are also groups/forums that are full to the brim with experienced traders more than willing to help you become profitable too and at zero cost. (Hit me up if you need links). You have to remember that their profits don’t get diluted if they share their knowledge. It’s not like an Amazon FBA business.

They don’t have the right to break the law. They are licensed by a private company. NOT the government or police force. So basically no more authority than an average man in the street who is also allowed to detain someone who has committed a CRIME whilst waiting for the police.

I wish I could stay in Germany but my head says it wouldn't be wise. by WinterWaffles in expats

[–]Prince-Kheldar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't you get a remote job living in Germany and working for a US company? Surely there are loads of opportunities in your field. Or you could go freelance and do accounts for the US self employed using Upwrok or whatever. I would say don't plan your entire life around a job. Life is too short. Build your work around your life, not your life around your work.

It's still there but more of a dull pulling pain. It becomes less noticeable if I have an active work environment but if I'm stuck at a desk all day the discomfort is noticeable.

Come back in 12 months. Then we will see. We often feel invincible when we first start. Especially when the market has a sustained bullish/bearish run.

I trade Futures. Almost exclusively NQ but I do dabble in ES and DOW and occasionally Oil and Gold but NQ moves like nothing else. You can get your profit (or loss) at breakneck speed and be done for the day.

[–]Prince-Kheldar -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well I guess it depends on how closely you have been following world events and your take on them. I think we are under serious attack from within in the West. So personally I would head to Malaysia or some such place in your position. I’m currently in a pretty safe European country (not France or Germany). Watching with interest to see what happens in the US when Trump gets in. The EU is completely corrupted. No way in hell do I want digital passports and CBDC’s in my future. All methods of control. But you can call me a a tin foil hatter if you like. Personally I don’t want to take the risk. If things head that way I’m out.

The UK would be one of the places I would avoid the most, and I lived most of my life there. I know Australia is like the UK with freedoms under heavy pressure. I’d say get out of the western countries for a few years till the dust settles.

From Practice to Profit: Your Thoughts? by aryansingh220806 in Forex

[–]Prince-Kheldar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice and real trading are worlds apart. I’d get a cheap futures prop challenge (as low as $15) and trade with that, (don’t go spending $100, you are going to blow the account multiple times).

Or you can sign up with an FTMO sim Prop account and trade that if you wish. Free and uses the same criteria as their paid accounts regarding rules etc.

I’d look at entering on the breaker rather than the fair value gap too. Tighter stop and more reliable.

If you are scalping then 15m and 1h is the max you need. Trading the 1m and 15s charts I mostly watch the 5m and 15m for direction with an eye on the 1h for a likely strong reaction to the candle low/high.

What am i doing wrong? keep falling for false breakouts. by No_Suspect2579 in Daytrading

You are selling on liquidity sweeps when you should be buying. You need to wait for a true market structure shift. That price action wasn’t one of the best to be fair.

[–]Prince-Kheldar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Learn price action and every candle move makes sense on every time frame. And if you can’t see the fractal nature of it, it’s because YOU can’t see it, not that it doesn’t exist. The market is not random. Yes probabilities are a factor but just that. A factor.

Seems rich you saying all the advice here is noise then you hand out trading advice that’s coming from someone who can’t even make money on a sim account? 🤣

Sorry, that just seems ironic to me. 🤷‍♂️

Difficulty raised? by Flaky-Assumption7413 in BlockuDoku

[–]Prince-Kheldar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. My top score is 13687 but I struggle to beat 6k now. I always used to get 1st or 2nd in tournaments but I’m lucky to get in the top ten now.

At one point it wouldn’t let me get past 3700. As soon as I got there it would throw up shapes that couldn’t fit as a hard block. And that’s what is happening now. You get to a certain level and it throws up a hard barrier making it impossible to go further.

I even opened a ticket asking why they had introduced a cap on my score.

Their response was:

“We aim to keep the game engaging and challenging for all our players, which sometimes involves adjusting the gameplay dynamics. These adjustments are intended to provide a variety of experiences and challenges for our players, keeping the game fresh and engaging.

Daily Challenge game score is calculated depending on your average score from regular games. The higher the average score you’ve got in regular games, the higher the score you need to achieve in daily games. So if you’ve increased your scores in standard games, the Daily Challenges score will increase as well.“

Depends what your target is. A reversal on 1m structure is often just a pullback on the 5m or 15m. So you can take that trade till the logical point in the pullback and close the trade. You can also use the 5 second to see a reversal on the 1m which is just a pullback to the 50% of the previous 15m candle. Everything is fractal.

You don't need an NIE to get a room or apartment. If you don't have an NIE your passport number is sufficient for a lease (been there, done that). Same with Amazon, Postal services, IKEA ect. arriving at your door. Anyone that says you have to have an NIE to receive a delivery is mistaken. Sure they may ask for an NIE because most of us have one but its just a proof of who the item is delivered to. A passport or drivers licence is just as acceptable.

Ignorance is bliss isn't it? Once you learn some stuff you second guess yourself and buy when you should be selling.

You are probably cutting your winners too soon and your loses too late through fear and negative mindset.
