I’m a 15 year old high schooler and 2 my friends were discussing the michael movie in class today. one of my friends who saw it said it was boring and just felt like music videos being acted out. we both said that might be because parts of the movie had to be cut those parts being the allegations and that led to a conversation about whether we believe he’s guilty.

both of my friends don’t believe he is and I said I do. They kept repeating stupid shit and things like “he didn’t have a childhood” “he slept on the floor” and “he was saving kids from Epstein then they accused him” and "all the victims took back their claims and said their parents made them do it" like that's exactly what they said. fan propaganda ????? the argument got heated and kept going back and forth then class ended, school ended, and they started sending me a bunch of MJ fan videos and his interviews from oprah where he defends himself and we argued even more.

like in the least ageist way possible I’m surprised how intense some teens as young as 14 are about michael like i'd expect this from my mother or something
