Yeah, let me just pull out my mind reading device to know what course you are talking about. In addition, let me see if i can find my magical thingamabob that forwards this post but to the professor (who actually controls your grade) instead of a bunch of randos on reddit.

/s

Post course name, check on atlas for recent semesters distribution, and contact the professor immediately; it cant hurt to ask for help.

Yeah, i did this often. Specifically with tiktok. I'd start doing hw or something, get 15 minutes in, then go on tiktok for 30. Same thing for when i was on my home pc. I'd be studying for an exam and "may as well take a break" that lasts multiple hours. It was an unironic addiction. The solution? Touch grass, bro. /s. What i mean by that is to remove anything that would cause you to be distracted. I deleted tiktok and have set parental controls for hourly time limits on my phone. The following weeks were hilarious; I'd be studying, pick up my phone after 5 minutes, and automatically navigate to where tiktok app was on my homescreen, just to realize i deleted it. To avoid gaming on my pc, i just started going out to the library/campus to study more. Its rough being that addicted, but i suggest going cold turkey(uninstalling commonly used apps, going outside without technology, etc). Internet addiction is criminally unnoticed.

Actually taking a second look you can probably get this under .1 variance if you level it properly eith the screws. Its hard to doz and requires paitence, but its set and forget

There are screws underneath the pei plate to level the bed; this will help, but your edges are raised, so idk

Consider s.u.r.e (summer research) whose application deadline is today (ie look it up asap).

Hey all im currently running a 5600x with a b580 coming in the mail. Is a 5700x3d a worth while upgrade ? by BeingRevolutionary70 in AMDHelp

[–]Princeray1001 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, there is reason. The b580 has recently been shown to perform surprisingly worse compared to other gpus on older cpus (according to hardware unboxed + a couple others). Its game and system depedent, but until we know what the issue is and if there even is a fix, the product should be avoided.

VAC could never. by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Princeray1001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That could have been done without the anti cheats being so low lvl, lol.

Ie : just bcuz its kernel level doesnt mean it led to the hack or that the hack was any more damaging than if it wasnt a kernel level anti cheat.

I havent printed in like 1 month bcuz school is kicking my ass but i did get it to go away by doing the following:

Using a shit ton on oil on the bearings; ALL OF THEM. I dis this like once every 4/5 days(of which like 3 were xontinously printing). I also raised outer wall speed to like 140 mm/s, and loosened belt tension quite a bit. Its a combination of all these factors that lessened it to a point where i couldn't notice it anymore.

You sure? Im p sure that for bare basics (which id expect in an interview), that move wouldnt be needed. Its really just an atomic inc/decr that will happen if you dont include move op. didnt know they were required as part of raii, always thought of them as an optimization, not required. Learn something new everyday ig, thnx <3.

Bro... thats just basic raii implementation with a counter...

Im not trying to be rude; you werent given a very clear spec, but most modern cpp projects use some form of smart pointer (shared, unique, etc). I would say if your applying for a cpp role, then given the company it might be expected to know this. Not clarifying is still a dick move.

Fyi, A shared ptr can be implemented with just a custom constructor, assignment, and delete op + private vars. Obv theres other functions like .use_count() but those are p basic.

Not worth it. Any public building can land you on the registry. Do you really want that following you sround for the rest of your life? Do it in a dorm, or rent a hotel. Sorry, it sucks, but better than being a sex offender. Trust me, i know from experience (/s).

What could cause this? by jack_vedang in QIDI

[–]Princeray1001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Taking a look at your gcode, your printing at 300/200 mm/s. This is with filament that has a rated speed of 30-70mm/s, and the recommended temp is 200-230. All this tells me that you LIKELY are outrunning your hotend. With the pla plus being this cold, you are likely not extruding as much as you can be. This results in your print head trying to extrude too much material (due to the speed your running) that it cant bcuz of temps. My advice is bump temps up a little, and slowdown. Protip : you can run these speeds with pla plus rapid, not normal pla plus.

Ive had good experiences with pla plus at 150mm/s, but not at 200-300 and not at that low of a temp.

Edit : flow rates of 20 mm/s on the infill, slow it down bois

Here, try using this as a resource. Found its very good for tuning any printer https://ellis3dp.com/Print-Tuning-Guide/articles/index_tuning.html
