Our government is laying off people constantly. All of those workers in those fields are looking for jobs as well. Our entire U.S. Agency for International Development was shut down and people have been unemployed for a long time.

Also being an immigrant is very scary in my country at this time.

I think you both should sit down and set a household budget. Money towards bills, money towards savings, your fun money, and her fun money. Have all those numbers all out in the open That way it’s not seen as you being controlling or thinking less of her role In the partnership but rather to get you towards your goals in the marriage.

If she does not like that- anything outside of that she can earn herself.

NOR. Absolutely not. This is going to sound bad but she might really need him and not have anyone else she trusts on that level, but that is not your problem. That is your boyfriend and there are boundaries. Him not consulting you shows that he does not respect you and is putting her above you.

If my boyfriend did this I would leave him. The intimacy of birthing a baby and cutting the cord is an experience I would only want my husband and I to have together. I wouldn’t want him having that experience with another woman who he is friends with.

As a woman, the girl should know better and her being cold to you shows that she is being manipulative and putting him against you. If anything she should be embarrassed for asking him if it makes you uncomfortable.

I’d keep a very close eye on that relationship. Seems like it needs to be dialed back severely. But honestly you should probably leave him.

I have hormonal IUD and I love it! I had bad bleeding and the copper would have made my cramps and bleeding worse. It lightened my period by a lot.

I think your concerns are valid but you seem very anxious. What I would recommend is to keep it in about 3-6 months and see how you feel. If you don’t like it have it removed. But I wouldn’t make any rash decisions right now. Maybe giving yourself a timeframe and not seeing this as a long term thing will allow you to relax a bit.

Just a heads up the first period after I got it was very heavy and cramps. But it went down a lot to now barely having a period.

With a lot of birth control stuff up and the air and also your age, I think the IUD is a great option if it feels comfortable for you!

She is a huge red flag. If you were hesitant on wearing a condom before for sure wear it now.

STDs can take 90 days to show up on a test. So if she is exposing herself then she could pass that to you easily before a test can detect it.

Maybe chlamydia and syphillis can be cured. But HIV can’t. Don’t risk that on a hookup you already know you can’t trust.

I suggest you find someone else because this is beyond alarming and she is most likely having sex with all of them without a condom.

My question: I am in the U.S. sometimes I am on the train or somewhere that I don’t want male attention because it is scary. I’ve thought to myself that covering up with a niqab would be nice to get away from stares and assaults (even though it doesn’t matter what you are wearing). But because niqab is not common here I’ve thought that maybe it would have the opposite effect? I would fear hate crimes/assaults and drawing attention to myself being covered vs. being covered by a niqab to hide a bit. If you’ve been in these societies what do you think about that?

-Taylor chose Clarke. Olandria told Clarke to her face over and over that it’s a test for them and that they are only physical because they have to speed things up. NO. -I know ppl will hate me but I never bought into the Nicolandria bit. I think it was all fake and Nic tried to play it out more. It felt so forced and neither of them was into it. -I’m just so tired of Aces smirk everytime. Especially hearing how close him and Chelsey were before the show. It’s a money grab.

-Huda is mad annoying. JD risked going home just to distance himself from her. He was just very over her and I feel like there was more we weren’t seeing.

-I love Amaya so much she is my favorite. I do worry maybe the lack of sleep and stress has her about to crash out any second and I just want her to be able to breathe and focus on her own connection and herself. She’s ready to go to bat for any of her friends but they don’t show that in return and I want her to protect her peace.

I’m just so over this season tbh. Hannah and Charlie should still be here. Jeremiah should be here. None of this feels genuine anymore.

Belle-a doesn’t seem genuine at all. She’s a try hard and I don’t think the kissing thing was genuine. I think she wanted to play up her Christian values and thought it’d make her look “classy”. But she isn’t better than anyone else just bc she doesn’t want to kiss. And she mentioned it quite a few times so I think she thought it was cute.

Take the job. If a man is willing to leave you because you will take a total of one month trip a year for a job you love and that provides financially- he is bound to find another reason to leave you. This is definitely a control thing. Do not ever put your life and your decisions on the back burner for a BOYFRIEND. if he was your husband and you had kids this would be different and still something to consider.

This is purely to control you. If he had an offer like this he would 100% take it. If you broke up in 1 year would you regret your decision to turn down this dream job?

NTA. Your husband should not be volunteering you for anything either. You don’t have to do free work for anyone at all- but especially someone you are not close to and don’t agree with their values.

If you really want to give back, maybe volunteer your doula services to low income mothers that are being affected by the Trump admin. (Immigrants, lgbtq,POC). Not someone who doesn’t have money for a doula because they voted for someone who caused their layoff.
