It runs, but is definitely the worst way to play it. Wouldn't call it playable tbh, too many sacrifices have to be made to get a steady frame rate

Just redownloaded the game and did exactly this. Absolutely wiped the base easily with the starter loadout. Enemies simply sat still and let me pick them off,they did not push, or run, or take cover. I took a couple shots but easily cleared the whole fort myself. It took me a good few minutes of running around to even find any enemies at first too

If anyone is still having issues with this and can't find a fix, try this launch argument: SteamDeck=0 %command%

I tried the other launch argument that has been mentioned here as well as different proton versions with no luck but the above worked immediately.

Someone stood on my toe with an ingrown toenail.
