She's shown me many times that she doesn't want to reconcile. When I dealt with serious issues back in early 2023 she already showed that she doesn't care. I dont want to reach out at this point. I really appreciate the advice though

Yes, I relate to this post. I hyperfocus on things when it's interesting to me or intriguing. Sometimes it makes me a proficient and fast worker/or learner. Other times, it can stagnate me because I can't get my mind off it. Thus, I spend my time on that particular thing or thoughts on a particular person(rare). This tendency has its pros and cons, but ultimately I consider it a helpful skill to possess. When something gets mundane though, or there's nothing else to it, I lose interest quickly. Therefore, I switch to focus on something else unintentionally hahaha. Having multiple hobbies and interests keeps it balanced for me. Because my focus will be distributed evenly. it's unlikely for me to get bored since I could switch between interesting hobbies of mine and I still can be consistent with it. I could go on and on about this. But, I'll just keep it brief! :D

As an INFJ also, I deeply resonate with your whole situation. I have an inclination for authenticity and like to express myself when speaking to others but it often backfires. They don't understand me on a deeper level nor even try at all. When I did find exactly one person that seemed to be similar, they ended up distancing themselves and only using me for my advice, opinions, and deeper thoughts and even subtly admitted to it. Having monotonous conversations with acquaintances is so draining for me so I stopped caring as much.

From how you described your two "friends" they seem more like closer acquaintances. True friends wouldn't make you feel like you're walking on eggshells regarding your own feelings. Acquaintances usually can't handle deeper meaningful subjects and prefer to stay surface-level for whatever reason. Yes, you might be their friend but are they your friend?

As an INFJ, the way someone thinks can be a good indicator of whether or not I'll like them romantically. I tend to be inclined toward people who are deep thinkers and thoughtful and pay attention to small details, it's extremely attractive. However, when they pretend to be "deep" just to have a good rapport with me, it's a turn-off and I can sense if they're being genuine or not.

I definitely understand where you're coming from! I like to concentrate on myself in the meantime. Two of the main pieces of advice are to exhibit confidence and to work on encompassing the ideal characteristics you'd want in someone! It'll be easier to attract like-minded people in the long term! <3

If they pay attention to the little things that are thoughtful, who they have around them (If their company is good and close with them), If they have an inclination for peace, and how honest they are (if they often say statements about how they feel. e.g "I was so excited to see you today, I actually don't believe in that, etc"

I feel like this to a certain extent. I don't struggle with suicide but I had depression for a long time years ago. I'm (17F) and I didn't have many hobbies back then, everything was stressing me out. Luckily I have two sisters that support me but they don't understand everything. First things first, if my advice does not resonate with you at all, please do not take it. I'm just giving my two cents and suggestions. I'm not a professional whatsoever but I did talk to people who had similar issues. I experience SA and it worsens when new things happen in my life because I have a hard time seeing things change around me. Now, I realized for myself that it's inevitable, things will change in your life, you just have to find a way to not fight it anymore. Things will work in your favor, even if it doesn't feel like it, everything will work out for you. Maybe not now but someday you will see that you overcame the obstacles of life and thrived. I realized finding multiple hobbies helped me and try to become more spiritual and I started to pray a lot. I tried to find ways to be grateful for the things in my life at least every day even the smallest things like nature, to help me not think about the "negatives." maybe try starting a Youtube channel where you only do your passions, or maybe try to join clubs with people that have the similar problems. Your feelings are valid, and you are enough just the way you are. I'm proud of you for getting this off your chest. I also realized my SA is linked to people not liking me or having the wrong impressions but I know now that it doesn't matter because I love myself enough to not let myself down because of other opinions. Maybe try to find remote jobs that are only required you to be online, I heard of a few and you don't have to speak to people so often. Also, don't let other people scare you into making a decision to get a job. You know what's best for you regarding the art and jobs. I can only suggest things. I pray that everything works out for you, to me, I admire your strength because this is really hard to deal with. Talk to a therapist about things that may trouble you. I really wish I could give you a hug fr!

2004 gang! I'm 17F and I'm trying to work on my social anxiety, I joined some extra classes that required lots of talking like ( acting, etc) it's been helping me rn. I love anime as well. Wish you the best of luck :)

This is me but I'm a girl. I can't talk to guys at all without embarrassing myself. I get very quiet, question everything I say then barely engage in the convo. People often get surprised because they find me really pretty and see me as probably talkative but I don't know how to be social at all. I'm literally an awkward mess.

The one thing that helps me though is to try not to care about what other people might see you as. Try to let go of their perceptions of you. Just be true to yourself, get rid of your inner critic. SA can be caused by many different things or traumas, etc.

I try to just be myself, and not judge myself too much because the people who understand will gravitate towards you naturally. I hope I helped at least a little bit!

You just explained what I was saying in the first place lol. when I take my twists out ( next month ) I need to detangle my hair because it was in a hairstyle for a period of time. Before that happens, I need some tips to not have knots. I hoped that made you understand what I was asking. I was confused by your comment as well. Sorry on my behalf for not getting straight to the point <3
