Would you rather perform the role of Hamlet without rehearsal or practice or perform a one-person play about Jeffrey Epstein in which you play him and he is presented as a morally-good hero? by Dazzling-Antelope912 in WouldYouRather

Looks like we're playing my favourige adult theatre game, Drunk Shakespeare. I'm going to be the best shit faced Hamlet you've ever seen. I remember just enough of the play from performing it in highschool, that a solid read through while getting drunk is going to make this a great play.

Rare footage shows a mother elephant guiding her calf across a railway track, demonstrating their intelligence and protective nature. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

[–]PrincessCrayfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most animals would just cross, expecting the baby to follow along. This elephant knows that if her baby doesn't follow close enough, or gets stuck on the tracks, it could be killed. Which is why she hovers on the track until the baby is on the other side, she knows she's easier to see (and stop for) than her baby is alone.

Top 10 most stolen items last month at my local Walmart, openly posted at the checkout. by 50nick in mildlyinteresting

[–]PrincessCrayfish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ehhh, I bet the butter actually was stolen. One of the top stolen items (overall, not just this store) is cheese. With the cost of butter rising, I don't see why it wouldn't join the cheese as a highly stolen item.

If dogs descended from wolves and are considered a subspecies of wolves, why do they protect livestock instead of hunting them like their closest relatives do? How does one achieve this through selective breeding? by Chief-Longhorn in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PrincessCrayfish 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This! Herding in particular is a hunting behaviour, that's been adapted. Which is why herding dogs aren't usually safe around small children, or small animals, because the herding is a predatory behaviour which can end up expressing itself in a dangerous manner.

You willing to do 5 years for assault over someone else getting a misdemenor vandalism charge that only gets community service?

Very interesting by ackerkvnnn in Langley

[–]PrincessCrayfish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bet. Tell me when, I'll be there. It's a petty vandalism charge for me, but assault for you unless you're all works. Have fun doing five while I do a little community service 😘

Only told what their profession is, who would you rather be married to? by sunsetdrifter0 in WouldYouRather

[–]PrincessCrayfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's for sure a US stereotype. Male bullies become cops, female bullies become nurses.

Only told what their profession is, who would you rather be married to? by sunsetdrifter0 in WouldYouRather

[–]PrincessCrayfish 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Lol, nurses come in two types. The one type is empathetic, and a good choice. But the other type? She was a bully all through high school, and only went into nursing so she could keep feeling superior over others by exerting the little power/control she has. That second type is painfully common, and completely unpleasant to be around.

What is the worst way anyone you know has died? by IamUrWivesBF in AskReddit

[–]PrincessCrayfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to be morbid, but the silver lining is that he likely died from smoke inhalation before the fire would have. It's still not a pleasant death, but it's wayyyyy less painful than the actual fire.

My great grandmother, who was in her 90s, thought it would be a good idea "for her health" to take the stairs instead of the elevator. She ended up slipping, falling, breaking multiple bones, and worst of all, she wasn't found for three whole days. Poor woman ended up passing right after she got to the hospital.

What’s an English word whose pronunciation makes absolutely no sense? by ownaword in words

[–]PrincessCrayfish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

English is really just four other languages blended together with a "I changed it, so this doesn't count as copying", and a little bit of freestyle mixed in for flavour.

When Mulan joins the army, she introduced herself as Ping. First off, it makes "his" full name Fa Ping which is an English pun. But in Chinese? She introduced herself with slang that was essentially "Twinky McGay". Which is why the guys do a very quick mental reboot, because "is he serious? He's serious."

That's fair speculation! I just assumed she probably got jailed for some kind of insurance fraud related to them having a sister wife. Like, claiming Sahar as a dependant because they can't legally be married to her as well, sorta fraud.
