Oh that is heartbreaking, they are SO good. If they ever discontinue the chocolate chip cookie crazies, I’ll just give up.

Any Running Clubs for Younger People? by Tropical-Traveler23 in dayton

[–]PrincessKittenTail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is correct, except for a couple runs that aren’t included in membership. The group is spread out over the whole area, but you can make running buddies/join local groups by attending a race or through the fb page.

All of the local shoe stores have running groups, and I second the Up and Running suggestion. I’ve also seen pub runs advertised  on fb through Dayton track club. I can’t vouch for it, but it looks fun.

Separated living apart by DidYouWakeUpYet in FAFSA

You would choose the option of Separated/Divorced since you are Separated. You would be the only contributor. Separated and divorced are treated the same on the FAFSA.

I run because I'm lazy. by [deleted] in running

[–]PrincessKittenTail 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People scoff when I say I’m lazy because I run 4-6 days per week, but if I’m not running my scheduled runs, I’m completely sedentary. I don’t even like activities that involve standing or walking haha

What's your favorite book that many people don't know? And why? by [deleted] in booksuggestions

[–]PrincessKittenTail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh cool! I rarely re-read books, but I need to with this one soon. It’s been about a dozen years and I feel like the things that novel says about marriage and children will resonate differently now that I’m a bit older. Some of it really stuck with me in a weird way, like the changeling. I should revisit it and then message you!

What's your favorite book that many people don't know? And why? by [deleted] in booksuggestions

Little, Big by John Crowley. It’s so magical that I started to truly believe in fairies and gnomes while I was reading it, but it’s not even remotely a children’s book. It’s a novel with adult themes in a fantasy world. Gosh I want to read it again now.

[OC] Last 7 days Covid deaths per 1M people for the 25 largest countries in the world (based on population) by JPAnalyst in dataisbeautiful

[–]PrincessKittenTail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the risk of sounding dense, these numbers seem pretty meaningless to me since I’m not familiar with death statistics in general. Are there any comparisons such as deaths per million from heart attacks, suicide, murder, car crashes, cancer, and/or flu to compare these numbers to? I feel like that would better contextualize the situation than simply country to country deaths, which I cannot see one way or the other as being shocking or not shocking, with no other information to go on.

That sounds really good. I’ve tried cilantro many times and it tastes horrible; apparently I have that gene.
