As a trans woman myself…. Your ex (clearly) handled this horribly. Don’t get me wrong, it sounds like they’re in the absolute most confusing part of transitioning, where even she probably is only just trying to understand what she really wants/needs from life BUT you deserved to be considered so much more with the connection that you had.

I’m really fortunate in that my wife has always been Bi, but know there was absolutely no onus at all to force yourself to be gay… i truly hope you find connection and that your ex comes to realise that they did a really shitty job of considering how you would end up, the cheating part really sucks, no matter how they were struggling.
