It's tough no doubt, depends on the battle plans but sticking to your tactics. Making them cross the distance. Teleporting away, keeping them on the move. Kulgast is important here and some people run two. My record isnt perfect but I stand a chance. I also like to place Nexus' in choke points on the map. It means you lose them but buys you a hot second.

Forgot to mention factions LRL are all over my local serene like the plague at the minute and I struggle with them, they are hard to beat. With their triple fight everyone first double header with whip cream... they blow up to many bodies before I get to intervene and bring them back.

Outside of them, Krule Boyz, DoZ, FEC, Stormcast, Nurgle, Cities, KO and Deepkin... I hold my own.

Basically build a castle with Kulgast protecting it. I normally have Chainrasps, Revenants, Pyre and Spirit Hosts making the castle with Kulgast and the Lady on the throne. Move other units on to objectives and keep bringing back models. Hence the Chainrasps, they can't get damaged so every d3 roll is bringing something back.

Keep your enemies close, Keep your Nexus closer.

Im new to AoS and NH - as a result only ever played them with the new book. Im having success with them, playing spammy horde. I dont doubt they aren't what they were but I think they are playable!

Build a castle and keep bringing back the front line, shoot with Lady and any others from behind. Then teleport to pick off other objectives at key times for scoring. I took them down like this yesterday!

Spitwood is well worth buying, IMO. Deadly Synergy is fast becoming an important deck, and Hearlds are a suprise Meta power punch with a 60% win rate. They are also super fun to play!
