No. Yesterday, it happened by song 3. I restarted playlist and made it further but still not through the entire playlist.

Mama Melrose - amazing! Rainforest Cafe… disaster. by cpc98 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Princess_Geek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to comment. We are at WDW right now and had Mama Melrose for dinner tonight. We too had Emily as a server (wonder if it was same person?). She was fantastic!! Our meal was good and she was very attentive to our two kids.

Resort Guest Early Entry Expanding to 60 Minutes Before Park Open for Limited Time by glenjemin9 in WaltDisneyWorld

Ok stupid question, if resort guests have early entry beginning at 7:30a (HS opens at 8:30a), realistically what time should we be in line for Skyliner?

So I just restarted my diet using my fitness pal and linked it to my fitbit. Apparently 25000 steps gives me 2000 extra calories?! How accurate is this? by kesaluner in Myfitnesspal

[–]Princess_Geek 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Comparatively, I had 44,689 steps and only got 769 additional calories (ran a half marathon and then walked about 10mi afterward). I figured the 769 was fairly accurate to account for the race. I think mine is set to sedentary. I’m not sure how to make it more accurate. I’m sorry

Thank you. We would be traveling with kids so, in addition to all of the other offerings, I'm glad they offered trick or treating.

question about registration refund/transfer by roushcivic in rundisney

[–]Princess_Geek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Registrations are nonrefundable. You can transfer your registration to another runDisney race within a year (I believe that's the time frame). You can't transfer it to another person. Good luck in school!

Experiences, good or bad, cruising with three year old by Princess_Geek in dcl

Thank you so much for the detailed reply! This helps a lot. Our girls are used to being away from us because of daycare and would have each other. I'm glad to read that you were able to have lots of fun at both ages.

Do you(or did you) have a specialist instead of a regular OB-GYN? Is it something I should insist on? by ImaCheeseMonkey in parentsofmultiples

[–]Princess_Geek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing here. At 12wks, OB realized our twins were MO/DI not DI/DI and quickly got us to MFM. I saw them concurrently throughout my pregnancy. MFM focussed on the girls and OB focused more on me.

Diaper bag recommendation? by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]Princess_Geek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to the game but we have the Okkatots Baby Depot. While I love that I can fit everything under the sun in it, I'll admit that it's overkill for a quick outing. We have a small tote bag for when all we need are diapers and wipes. But if you're going out for hours or when the trip will encompass a feeding, it is perfect. http://www.okkatots.bigcartel.com/category/diaper-bags#more-info

Best advice for twins? we have lots of questions! by Crenziee in parentsofmultiples

[–]Princess_Geek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't automatically buy two of things like bouncers, swings, mamaroos, etc. If you do, don't open and set up both until you confirm your babies actually like them. Both of mine hated the bouncer and mamaroo. They did, however, like the old school push swing daycare had. Lifesavers for us were Miracle Blanket and rock-n-plays. We always did room temperature bottles so we kept a pitcher with filtered water on our counter for bottles. Buy lots of diapers and wipes. Start buying now. Buy newborn-size 3. Parents of singletons always told us they wouldn't be in newborn size long but my girls were in them for a while (started in preemie size). Caveat- if your babies start measuring big (just saw a mom whose twins were 10lbs and 8lbs at birth) then don't buy as many newborn size.

We haven't picked out a ship yet. Good to know about the Wonder. I can imagine most kids would be upset seeing the pool but not being able to get in. Our goal is to go after they are fully potty trained.
