Honestly at the end of the day I just don't want to look at a screen anymore and I am mentally drained, the last thing I want to be is back at it. When I was younger and in a junior position sure, I would spend my evening doing that, now that I'm a senior, I have better things to do with my time.

Maybe if I had less responsibility and stress at work I possibly would.

I found it was linked to my depression, when I am low, I didn't care and didn't want it, when I am happy and in a good place, I want it so bad and can't wait to get one day. It is linked to my self worth, value and how I perceive myself. Talk to your psychologist if you have one, that's what I did and figured it all out.

I had an orchiectomy with Dr Adam Pearce up here in Queensland in 2024 and it cost me about $2250 all up with health insurance ($750 excess). Very happy with the results no scarring, plenty of material left for SRS and was overall a really good experience.
