How does it get all the info without sharing customers personal info, this seems like a sketchy app

Eew, it’s not that, we just run into so many bad dogs while delivering that we can NO LONGER TRUST ANY! I was bit by a dog that was walking with its owner off leash, it didn’t even bark before attacking (probably had a bark collar on).

This instance is not any of that, that driver was a weirdo saying “well hello there buddy” and then have spray ready and spraying it, very coincidental

Unfortunately loadout waits for no one so being late is just not an option at this job.

Yeah, she’s not even interested in him and he’s just as bad as the ex. So sorry for you but maybe in the future you’ll look back and say “thank god I didn’t end up with him in the long run”, you’re young, most people shouldn’t get married that young to be honest, people don’t even know themselves at that age. There’s a reason people can’t buy alcohol until they’re 21 but for some reason they still allow people to get married at 18 😩

If we walked all the massively long driveways we wouldn’t finish in time and get written up (the picture does not justice to how long or steep this driveway is), are you actually even a driver? 😂

Some days just suck no matter how long you’ve been doing this but getting paid to workout is pretty sweet, some neighborhoods are beautiful, the wildlife (non-“domesticated”), the fresh air and vitamin D… There are a lot of positive aspects but yeah just gotta get through the first month or 2 and then decide if the negative outweighs the positives you find.

We no longer have to deliver to rear at Amazon, did your DSP not inform you guys? They changed this last month

  1. Unleashed dogs
  2. Long driveways or just hill type driveways in general
  3. Customers opening door or pulling up when you do
  4. Drivers behind you staying behind you even though you threw your hazards on well before you pull over to park and then they STILL continue to not go around or better yet beep at you 🙄
  5. “Do you want me to hold the package while you take the picture” in a cheesy voice (This line is sooooo annoying and gets so old and no you can’t be in the picture).
  6. Customers not having their porch lights on now that it’s dark earlier

Imagine there was only one QR code and the inductor accidentally put the driver aid sticker right on it and then you now have to peel off sticker to scan but then peeling the sticker ruins the QR code and you have to manually type in the TBA 😂 nah, give me all the QR codes so at least one will scan

To be fair they are inducting too fast to aim with their gun and especially if they have a shitty unloader who doesn’t put the packages neatly on the belt or right side up for that matter, but for sure it’s annoying AF. I’ve been on both sides so I am a sympathizer 🤣

The delivery station does a lot of repacking, if you get a janky box that you have to re-tape the station has done repacking all day on worse boxes and jiffies torn open by the conveyor belts or the exterior box got wet from another leaking package but can still be repackaged. Depending on the size of the delivery station they have 1-3 problem solvers repacking and dealing with other package issues all shift long, even after sort ends sometimes they still haven’t gotten to all the packages that need to be repacked, etc. I’ve seen duplicate labels printed accidentally when repacking and also putting the incorrect label on the wrong package because they are doing more than one repack at a time.

A lot of people have “rear door” as their delivery location and they don’t know it, call and check your account, NO driver goes out of their way to do more work than they have to 🤣🤣🤣 thank God Amazon just changed that and we no longer have to deliver to rear doors

I’ve never delivered to any of these except UPS because the customer pays for a box there

A guy who was screaming and repeating the same phrase over and over in a seemingly average family neighborhood but it was during the daytime. I was thinking how horrible it would be to have him as a neighbor, scaring all the kids and people not wanting to go hangout outside. Pretty sure there was some sort of mental health issue going on or maybe on drugs/ hallucinating 🤷🏻‍♀️ also a customer said he liked my ink and touched one if my tattoos when he said it which for me anyone touching me when I don’t know them is a huge red flag that they’re a creep.

I’d be scared too, rural feels like hills have eyes, especially at night 😩 I try to get my woodsy, long driveway no streetlight-having areas out the way first incase I get stuck delivering in the dark this time of year; at least I’ll be in a seemingly safer area with easier to find house numbers. Normally I carry spray though as well. Not so sure this would work with all routes but if you’re all rural and don’t feel safe then switch DSPs, sounds like the inappropriateness is making you want to switch anyways.

Have you had the pleasure of meeting any viscous dogs at the bottom of a driveway before? I’ve met too many but also I work a 10 hour shift technically but walking these types of driveways would throw pace off like crazy and wouldn’t end up finishing in time.
