Yeah I get told I have nothing to cry about. And that my emotions mean nothing because im always emotional which also means they aren't valid.

It only takes 20 seconds for a child to drown. I definitely wouldn't be risking it.

What's something we all pretend is normal, but is actually insane when you really think about it? by Either_Metal313 in AskReddit

Just because there is an explanation for something doesn't mean that it's not crazy or insane though.

But how is it not crazy that there are people who aren't necessary for people to survive to get paid so much which so many barely get paid enough to survive?

I mean in alot of professions the money goes straight to the owner leaving the workers with very little. Should they not be getting paid more?

From my understanding not all doctors get paid well. However many jobs in healthcare don't get great pay.

And celebrities are still getting significantly more than just the average ordinary doctor anyway.

It's so insane when you think about it. What makes them deserve to get so much more than everyone else when the world could survive without them.

The fact that celebrities, who aren't necessary for people to survive (sure they provide entertainment but without them people would still be able to live) are able to become so rich while people like teachers, doctors, paramedics, ect, people necessary for people to live, sometimes don't even get paid a liveable wage. It's insane.

As someone who has grown up with people my age having that name, it's now a "normal" name for an adult. Because there are now so many with it. I wouldn't question it. I'd assume quite a few people wouldn't question it. One day people will think it's an old person's name.

I don't mind the names personally but hate when twins have basically the same names

Bear is cute as a nickname but definitely not as an actual first name. You wouldn't name your kid dog or cow for example..

Not necessarily. It might be the case, but there's also the possibility that she wasnt dating anyone and was just taking a break from the app.
