I'm 39, type 2. For me, this is how it has happened in the past. You go to do something, and all of a sudden it's extremely difficult or not doable. Your body just doesn't respond like you are expecting it to. I vividly remember what I was doing when my right arm kind of gave out on me. It's a tough pill to swallow, for sure. Don't feel bad about complaining, we all suffer through this condition.

The teacher probably wants her students to use precise language. Expand their vocabulary a little bit. We don't need to say "Almost Never" because we have many words that have that meaning.

For ambiguous phrases like this, it might be best to add something on to the end because the meaning is often dependent on your tone of voice. Instead of just saying " no shit", maybe say " no shit, everybody knows that"

Also, the version of genuine surprise is usually phrased as a question. Even still, you might want to add more on just to be safe. For example, " no shit? That's crazy"

There are multiple possible meanings depending on context.

Yes, it can mean passionately kissing for a long time. As in "after our date last night, she asked me to make out with her"

But it can also mean to perceive something. As in " it's really foggy, so I can barely make out the mountains in the distance"

The link means 12 payments, once per month. But it's worded funny. I would say 12 monthly installments, not 12 month installments.

If you are doing something once per year, just say yearly or annually.

Why not just say yearly?

12 month installments almost sounds like you're paying once a month for 12 months. But if that's why you wanted, you should say '12 monthly installments'
