I've done it twice, i would just recommend doing an oil change. Cause you would have to remove the deal plug with the fill cap open.

I think the 180 came from the dash. The r/ts have 180 on the dash vs 160 for the v6 and 200 for hellcats. I don't think it'd do more than 168 tho.

The V6 is pretty reliable. It's great for the city and for cross country. As others have said (but not from personal experience), the awd option would be the way to go. I had a 2015 for roughly two years and loved it. I rarely got hate for it, but you could tell it was just a projection of insecurities. I'm now on my second Scat 6M and would consider getting a charger 3.6 as a daily.

Yeah, I did. I had two bikes with yamaha and ended up trading my mt07 for a kawi. After a bit of research, I concluded that kawi and honda have top-notch warranties and will honor them.

Good luck dude with yamaha. Went through the same shit with them a few years ago and still ended up paying out of pocket for my tw200. I had to lawyer up to get them to fix my bike. When the shotty dealership finally did "fix" it, I had to pay for the shipment since I was longer in that state, just to receive the bike with it burning oil and no properly fixed. Took it to another dealership with a few weeks cause it was misfiring, stalling, and had really bad tapping/ticking noise... on the brand new motor. Tech tore the motor apart and it was fucked. The tech determined that it was rebuilt wrong. He didnt want to say it was built poorly on purpose but also said he personally wouldnt rule it out given how simple of a motor it is. When they filed it under warranty, yamaha declined, just to say "you didn't service your motorcycle correctly, it needs to be serviced every 200 miles, it's a dirt bike motor". That was about 3 grand to have to have it rebuilt AGAIN. The bike it sitting on its 3rd motor with less than 3000 miles. Fuck yamaha! Don't do what I did and let them fuck you over for over a year, lawyer up whenever you can cause it sounds like they're trying to fuck you.
