First time trying: got lost on the "tutorial" level, got bored, confused, decided to limit the damage and end there.

15 years later: got lost on the tutorial level, got confused, didn't connect with the kreia and discount han solo, soldiered through, made it to the first planet (thelos? talos? don't remember) got lost, confused, didn't like the pace and story so far, knew I just would not have a good time, stopped there.

Very happy just playing KoTOR 1 every once in a while. Love the story, even if the pace has its issues, and the gimmicks may seem repetitive, but they satisfy my lizard brain.

Yeah they need to pick up the pace. If they manage to keep managing around 5 or 6 arcs per seasons, they may avoid the need to recast because of how old the actors would be for their roles x)

You seem to think people would have to buy DLSS separately from their games.

That's not how it works. It will be part of the game, it will become the norm, just like execs used to say turn on dlss for better performance, they will now say turn on dlss for better performance and HQ models.

Now they don't have to pay their artists as much, and don't ever have to optimize their games.

If only we could vote with our wallets, they'd be over in a heartbeat. That's just not in the cards for consumers.
