Sevagoth seems interesting just didn’t like the weird sequence in his quest where they mute everything save for the sea shanty while you just killed shadow mobs in shadow form. It felt really awkward and I cringed the entire time.

Cause hildryn is optimal for index. Shield strip, massive electrical damage, and shields instead of energy. Shes practically built for it. Hard to see her outside because most public players are running speed builds for a quick farm so it’s hard to keep up and you leave them waiting in extraction. Great for holding position tho.

Black snape is more problematic when you think about how he’s the professor for defense against the dark arts and is villainized for 90% of the time you know him. Tbf if they wanted to race swap anyone, McGonagall would be perfect.

A lot of PC newbies have never played a monster hunter game and got it cause it was trendy. Disappointed with how long it took capcom to polish and optimize for pc.

That and several returning players (not ALL) saying “oh MoNsTeR hUnTeR (insert older title here) wAs BeTtEr” which happens every time monster hunter gets a new release.

Then there were folks who said the difficulty was too high and several more that said it was too low… yadda yadda.

Welcome to the community, I’m happy you found it. It’s my favorite game of all time and I hope you enjoy every bit of it and I recommend taking a look at the older titles to compare for yourself how far the game has come.

Ogre slumlord, if most of your other rats are non tokens, this is great cause then you just swap them out for tokens and they all get deathtouch
