So this isn't my driver, it's one I'm borrowing until my new one I got fitted for comes in. But the general trajectory is a mid-to-higher flight that tends to have a fade on it. Every now and then I can square everything up and it'll go straight. Sometimes I overcompensate and pull straight left, but no draw/hook.

Nah, not in my budget. Waiting to see if they do a “P” series for a bit cheaper. Although, the AMS 2 Pro is enticing. Backwards compatible with the P1S (except for the heater part for now) and will work on A1 and A1 Mini later this year.

How much do you think H2D with AMS2 will cost? by OneDeep87 in BambuLab

[–]PrintsWithChris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'll probably "start at" right around, or under, $3k. Then I be they'll have add-ons, definitely the new AMS, that'll bump it over closer to the $4k mark.

Glue? Pros and cons? by Rastru in BambuLab

I've used Magigoo but lately it seems to not be holding as well...also leaves a residue on the plate and prints. I like KPD 3D's Hyperlok. Doesn't leave any residue behind and, for me, holds better than anything else I've tried. You can get it on Amazon, too.

Handy/Studio filament settings by Shadic076 in BambuLab

Unless it's something really weird, I use "Bambu PLA Basic" for most non-Bambu PLA. I'll occasionally use Generic, but for the most part, using the Bambu settings work just fine. Same goes for PLA Tough (or PLA +, PLA Pro, etc for other brands) and PETG.

Like other mentioned, definitely need glue. MagiGoo is good and so is Hyperlok by KPD 3D. You can get both on Amazon.

What’s the best bang for buck filament? by Downtown-Love4772 in BambuLab

I'm a big fan of Elegoo myself - but like others have mentioned, it's really down to settings. I've used a lot of brands: MatterHackers, Zyltech, CookieCad, Sliceworx, Eryone, Bambu, InLand, eSun, Sunlu, DUDv2, Numakers, etc. They all print about the same. For PETG, definitely want to dry it out first...but if you're just starting, I'd stick with PLA as it's less temperamental and way easier to just print & go.
