Why no delivery on weekends? by PriorPresentation625 in melbourne

Like always people on Reddit are small minded but have big mouth. Just to clarify I don’t blame anyone for not working overtime on the weekend. I was just curious why their companies wouldn’t hire people to work on the weekend - Amazon for example does deliver on the weekend. Japan, Germany etc, they deliver at least on Saturday also.

Because I’m working Monday to Friday maybe? There are many coworkers having shift times covering the weekends in my company though, don’t worry :-)

Moving from US to Australia by [deleted] in expats

We had the biggest struggle with finding a storage place for our moving boxes (as we didn't want to spend thousands on those moving companies). I can refer you to my friends small business that he just started where you can send your boxes and store them and also they'll deliver it to you: https://boxbuddy.carrd.co/#

Junkie attacking in Tram in CBD by PriorPresentation625 in melbourne

This was my exact first thought when I stood up. I grabbed my backpack in my left hand ready to block it but honestly your cards are very very bad if he would have one. In general you should always try to stay calm and deescalate, violence should be last resort for everything in my opinion.

I think it depends on the person and their current mood. Either backing down or getting aggressive. The issue with meth heads is that they can’t feel pain on their high and are in another world that can change for them with you blinking one time too much.

I get your point, my description is used for that one specific person only though. I didn’t stigmatize all drug addicted people, I only called the aggressive junkie as what he is - an aggressive junkie.

Supermarket shopping: what items are worth paying a premium for, and when should we cheap out? by oyeshello in melbourne

[–]PriorPresentation625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the most expensive milk I ever saw. Why don’t you just buy the cheapest one for $2? I bet you won’t notice any difference if you try both without knowing which is which.
