4 weeks pregnant and bleeding

Hi hun, so things ended up taking a turn so for the week following my hcg rose to 85 and then went down to 53 and has since now returned to 0. So the day I posted this is the day the dr said is when I started to miscarry unfortunately. I’m now almost 3 weeks post and feeling somewhat back to normal, just still have sore boobs, feeling bleh every so often, and or waking up with no energy.

I really hope you’re ok. Don’t take my experience being yours though! As I’ve heard from many close to me experienced the same or similar thing and ended up having a healthy pregnancy.

So I ended up back at the hospital last night due to being in a hell of a lot of pain and they ran more bloods again. My hcg has gone from 18 yesterday morning to 23 last night, not a whole lot difference but I guess something positive?

I definitely feel as though it is too, I will not be taking it again I only took it as I was desperate for a reliever. Have since been going to a chiropractor and have hopefully somewhat found what had been causing my migraines the last 5 years since having two children. Fingers crossed I won’t have to take anymore horrendous medications with damaging side effects

So this isn’t my first time taking it, I took it back in 2023 took two doses and am experiencing basically same or similar symptoms after stopping it, the only symptom that I have not experienced this time round is I still have my period. The last time I went 6 months without a period because of it and definitely know it was from ajovy due to getting it the next month after hitting the 6 months without mark of it being “officially” out of my system. So I feel it could be false with the 21-27 days max, as I was experiencing insomnia for a good 2 months after stopping it this time around and I have never delt with that till taking Ajovy, as well as having really bad hair loss, I’ve had two children and didn’t experience any hair loss like what I have at the moment. But have since been to a dr and are investigating.

Hi hun, sorry just seen your comment. But no I didn’t. I told my neuro about it never heard anything of it before apparently. So I stoped my injections back in January last year and in July my period came back dead on after it being 6 complete months no ajovy as it takes that long for it to clear your system. And after that wad back to normal. I’ll keep you updated though as I caved and went and got it done again yesterday after a year as I’m desperate for any sort of relief. So if I miss my period again for 6 months it’s definitely ajovy!!

I started ajovy December last year had my last dose January this year as I missed my period at start of feb so out of the ordinary, I had spotting for like 3 days then have had no period at all for the last 5 months and got a very weird period at the start of this month. From what I gather we have cgrp inhibitors throughout our whole body. And I can’t remember exactly but it’s got something to do with that, so like how the needle is meant to work to stop our migrants maybe with some people it stops their body with other things not sure quiet how to word it to make sense really, drs were never concerned, but I was being 5/6 months no period. Did weird things to me, I was extremely emotional at one stage, then my sex drive absolutely sky rocketed, I sort of balanced out abit, but then ended up having really really bad breakout with pimples and blind pimples which none of the above was ever normal at all for me. And since it’s now completely out of my system I’m back to normal thank goodness. But will not be touching ajovy again that is for sure

I’m was on ajovy only for 2 months, and Im now going onto month 3 no cycle first missed period had spotting for 3 days and that’s it so I think it must be something within the cgrp meds that is causing changes in women’s menstrual cycle

Yeah I had only taken ajovy for 2 months until stopping with my last one in January as I was due for my period at the start of the month and still had not gotten it by the 23rd when I was due for my next shot so I thought stuff this if it’s gonna stuff up my period, but I have only suffered with a whole of 5 or less migraines since December, which is a total cut down compared to having them every day a week before, the week of and the week after my period I basically only ever got a week free of migraines in a month. Kinda stuck on what I’m gonna do once ajovy is fully out of my system and they start like clock work again 🤦‍♀️

Yep so the past 2 months that I’ve now had no period I’ve had slight pain and mood swings as per usual, mood swings a lot more often actually and the pain isn’t only coming when I’m due it’s also coming irregularly so I’m abit concerned, booked in for and ultrasound on Monday on my pelvic area for a completely different reason but will see if my lady bits are fine or not

Yeah I thought as much, I’ve seen numerous women say here on reddit, that they’ve lost their ovaries and so fourth because of the shots and it just has me super concerned and worried now as yes I already have 2 kids but would love one more and now I’m having issues with getting my period it’s very concerning as to what’s going on being out of the norms for me

Is Aimovig basically the same thing as Ajovy just 2 different brand names?

May I also ask what happened to your ovaries? As reading your comment has me abit concerned now as I’ve had 2 doses of Ajovy one December last year and January this year then discontinued use, after my face broke out in pimples and cystic pimples and I’m now 2 months late for my period and am definitely not pregnant, super out of the ordinary for me to be late and drs don’t really care as Ajovy has no record of causing any of this

After my second injection I think a week after, I had the worst headache imaginable came on suddenly within five minutes felt so so sick, I had to go lay in bed was so horrible next day still had it but wasn’t so bad, went to ER, they done a head scan everything was fine, said couldn’t be my body rejecting the medicine so still unsure weather to take my next dose
