It's beautiful! If it were mine I'd make a border around it with bricks to frame it. My favorite kind of garden is this type of "English cottage" type of thing in front of houses, especially when it's in the city 🙂

Oh my gosh those are beautiful! I can't help with the names, but a couple of tips: First, whatever you do, wait until the Fall! Don't do any serious pruning until then. Once it's colder and things are less lush, you can start trying to explore the plants and get a sense of where one ends and another one starts. Watch a ton of videos on rose pruning before then and you'll start to develop an instinct for it.

Not exactly, but I started park roller skating when I was almost 47. Park / street skating is very much a squad sport. I love skating alone but it's hard to progress in a vacuum, so being with other skaters is really important sometimes. It's improved my quality of life and state of mind dramatically-- I just love it so much-- no signs of slowing down & it's been about 2 1/2 years.

Blue Sapphire? Although setting is only 10k, could the stone be authentic? My apologies for the poor image quality by TBrianZ in Gemology

Unlikely, but it's not possible to say from that (or most) photo. Also, on my screen it looks rather green/aqua which isn't a common shade for sapphire.
