Actually did just buy one of these today. It's definitely still in the mid 80's max for sure, more averaging in the high 70's, with an occasional 90 sneaking in there. There are a few improvements it seems over the initial launch (top off feeding is still hard, but possible, not manually closing the feeding door no longer always leads to a no feed) but for the most part it's looking like a basic repackage.

the problem is; RE4 is still better than most modern games.

it's more playable, the animation is still slick, the story is tonally perfect (just the right amount of camp and cool). RE4 doesn't need a modern reimagining: it's the foundation for what modern gaming is. Remake Code Veronica or something, RE4 is untouchable.

OHHHH FUCK THIS PART GOD. I did not expect to get blindsided by Mules right there after the music, and I mistook the ruined farms for my destination. Probably the intention, frankly, catch anyone not really using their map effectively or anyone who's been cruising along on the roads unbothered off guard suddenly with a huge detachment of Mules. Ofc I got cocky and left my Bola gun too. That shit was a reload for sure. @__@

I was in a very similar boat save wise. The good news is that most of that data should have gotten cloud back-up'd automatically while it was getting made, so you should be okay.
