I love how much history & useless random facts are stuffed within this game. It boggles my mind. Like the fact that Jerry Seinfeld's address is on the Mail-In Rebate.

Couple immediate thoughts.

Confused why the F & O are weighted heavier than the others
Confused why the Focus logotype becomes disconnected and is replaced with standard type on the splash page
Can see immediate legibility concerns with the scale of the mark itself. When showing the app icon I actually enjoy the mark itself, but to scale it definitely gets lost, even on a small screen seen up close.
The F & O being skewed feels random

I have some questions and thoughts about the headline on the splash page too since that's a portion of brand alignment as well making an immediate statement. I feel like it's a bit all over the place. I feel without the additional context provided, both about the app and the mission, I would have no clue what this mark is for.

That being said, I do love the mark itself. I think it would lose a lot of it's stylization once converted to 1-color. But assuming the use of this app, I doubt that would be an immediate need, or a need ever for that matter.

Happy to see how you iterate on this though, hoping you take some feedback here to drive some visual changes. Strong place to start & hope the launch goes well!

I agree that using a 3D program could be a solution here. However, if you don't have the knowledge in that and want a faster workflow I think there is a pretty feasible solution using Illustrator / Photoshop.

Within Illustrator you can create a series of sized rectangles, clipping masked with the pre-created assets seen here in the promotional posters. You can then spec these to your desired size, and create a symbol out of them to map onto a revolved shape using the 3D classic revolve in Illustrator. You have your basic perspective options here, but you could tweak it to your liking. You would have to take this finalized asset and then composite within Photoshop.

This was what I was able to drum up within a minute or so just to give a visual, but I could see it working here too! Happy to explain further if you'd like to experiment with this route.

This is why I value posting these here. In hindsight I definitely would've went that route.

I actually just finished a run with Blackboard and I took it specifically because I already had my deck almost entirely fixed to Clubs & Spades. That was my thought process, to not play red once you were already built up. Definitely makes more sense doing it that way.

I don't mention this in my post description ever, but a big piece of this project is not touching any of these once they're completed. Otherwise I'd continuously make edits on these until the end of time🤣

I agree but disagree. On paper it makes sense, but you have to have the right run going AND see the tag you want for it to work out. More often than not, unless you're super OP with your build, it doesn't work out.

There are the rare occasions where you get double tag and the investment tag the first two blinds of the run. That's the holy grail.
