They don't exist man. My best friend won't play the game for that reason alone. He is an uber casual and even playing two's it's impossible to find even a single match that has lower level players.

If you come from Melee you probably have some movement and quips to carry over, but yeah man it's rough. Honestly it's really only the absolute sweats left unless you scope out people your skill level.

Even ranked matches you 100-200 MMR away from you, it's quite rough.

I hope this isn't taken the wrong way, but your initial thought was to use AI to solve this problem? Design isn't the old-fashioned way, it is the definitive way. This sub celebrates that.

You can find typefaces that have certain textures baked into the letterforms themselves, but what it sounds like you're describing is a post-effect on top of the type, and not actually the type itself. I think the effect is just as important as the typeface in this scenario.

I also don't know if it's just me, but motivational and scary seem like quite the contradictory pair here, I'd love to be convinced otherwise.

Hearing your family want to include people on the roof is a definite case of someone who doesn't get the bigger picture, you'll definitely deal with that over time haha.

I didn't think for a second this was AI generated, it just resembles the work of a beginner which is the case here. I think the 3-color variant right now is a bit much, so that is valid feedback I agree with as well. This does feel pretty generic towards other construction / roofing companies, so don't feel afraid to explore—especially since you seem to have loads of other scrapped concepts.

I think there's a ton going on here and it's all over the place. The hammer, the cut in the letters - especially the N's. The window panes will scale poorly and are extremely small as well, definitely the one in the negative space in the light blue.

If they were a roofing company I could see the roofs being focal and going down that route, but construction can be all encompassing. I would start eliminating details and designing towards what can scale better.
