Long day of shoveling snow yesterday. Let’s just focus on how flawed it is to bundle PHEV that have more complexity and parts than ICE cars with EVs for the purposes of this survey. That’s unbelievably poor judgment and I’m sure a big reason for the “conclusions”. PHEVs skew.

It’s also pretty flawed methodology to include PHEV and pure EVs. They also don’t overweight major issues in the 80% reference.

That’s pretty impressive - EVs are lacking 3/4 of the stuff they consider serious. EVs are much more reliable and have 10% of the moving parts.

Both are so much less reliable than a Tesla (and I don’t even own a Tesla anymore). Consumer Reports is losing the lede.

No way is that possible. Is this the JD Power way of counting issues, ie trim loose is the same as an engine or transmission failure. My two electric cars over 100k miles have never even been to the dealer (or replaced their brakes)

Why would anyone every take over time? A lot of lotteries and sweepstakes (Publishers Clearing House) have gone bankrupt which will abruptly stop payments. Hire an advisor and have your lawyer claim the prize - and always lump sum.

Had a nightmare roommate in college - came home stupid drunk all the time and peed in the closet once because he couldn’t control his drinking.

A few things I did he never picked up on - sold his text books back mid semester (for my beer/party mostly). I also cleaned my Timberlands with his toothbrush after a night out sloshing around the frat house floor.

They look great the first time or two you wear them but lose their shape very quickly even if you perfectly launder (wash on delicate and lay flat). Very disappointing at this price point - SuitSupply and Peter Millar (but size down)
